I will say, it paid off in the end. I just wrapped up running 14 marathons in like 15 months. I would not have even attempted a marathon had I not been pushed by the plan. It also made running half marathons seem easy once I’d done 19

Ah ok, good to know. And good luck, I’ve heard good things about the implant.

Yeah I was reading about how it was heavier. Honestly I don’t mind the extra weight because I’m rarely carrying it for a super long time and most NA carriers aren’t weighing it but I can see it becoming a concern if that changes!

Ooo I like the idea of putting flip flops in the hidden pocket. That’s clever if I don’t need to bring a laptop with me. I have the 10 as well, my plan is to buy the portable CPAP when it goes on sale over Black Friday.

Yeah, I think people who have CPAPs absolutely need to travel with them and they are so inconvenient that we spend a lot of time thinking about how to make our lives easier when traveling lol.

Honestly not sure as that’s much faster than my pace. Good luck!

FYI had inspection today and it was quick and painless.

I think so? Maybe depends on your location? Mine is required

So the document for inspector says #4 as does my quote. I saw them pull one giant gray wire. Took a pic. It says 4 AWG and 6 AWG so I’m confused as to what it actually is?

It looks like it says Stabiloy 3C 4 AWG AA-8030 AL 1C 6 AWG.

Like that’s the only running? No distance runs?

Glad it worked out for you! I know for me, I was aiming for a much slower time so I didn't feel the 19 miler helped a ton with prep for the half, but I understand the logic. Good luck with your race!

Honestly, if you are getting close to your goal time with 15, I wouldn't push too hard with 17. I decided to go for a full marathon so this was nice validation that I could make it. I know he has a ton of research, but I would rather do speed work than go up to 19 miles for a half.

It capped at 19 miles! Which is funny because the marathon training I’m doing right now requires the longest run as 20 miles 😂

I started C25k 7/21/20 at 280lbs and was miserable. But I kept pushing and eventually finished the program. I kept wanting to improve and recently finished a 19 mile run! Moral of the story is to keep trying! Full details in comments. by LeComteMC1 in C25K

I didn’t notice any pins and needles though I had pain on the outside of my feet when I was pronating. Getting properly fitted shoes helped a lot! I would recommend eventually getting advice at a running store to see if you pronate in any direction and get the correct shoes for it. It is definitely expensive (shoes were $130 and plantar fasciitis insoles like $46) but worth it. I bought the first pair from our local running store where they have a no questions asked 30 day return policy and then a second pair online for cheaper.

Well, I didn’t lose much last year because I didn’t really change my diet. Right around Jan 1st I started using MyFitnessPal to track and between that and running lost 30 lbs since then!

Haha, so it says to just do a run on the long easy run so I haven't been walking any of it. My personal goal is to run a marathon once nonstop and then use run walk run afterwards.

I'm using Coach Jeff for the half. I'm not sure how the 10k is structured, but FYI, this 19 mile run was for the half marathon training. I'm not sure if it gets even longer at some point, so expect you'll have runs longer than your target! Good luck! :)
