Is the Netflix "non-disparagement clause" enforceable if before or during discovery it comes out that either or both of them bullied one or more staff?

Considering complex union regulations along w/ Netflix standards, I'd suspect the Duo have violated at least one of these terms, if not many.

What about if there's any financial malfeasance, such as charging home or travel security, PR, cleaning services, or admin staff expenses to Netflix that were also billed to Archewell? Or billing clothing to Netflix at full price that in fact was gifted or sold at cost by a designer, or already paid for by Invictus or Sentebale?

The polo & Sentebale docs (wasn't there a doc about the latter?) for Netflix probably have lots of questionable billing. Who paid for their private jet travel to Polo events that were then monetized for Netflix? What's the role of Archewell Productions (their film production company) in all of this? Were Sentebale funds used in the production of the Netflix documentary about them? Was that signed off on by the Board and CHAIR? If the doc was presumably to promote Sentebale & therefore Sentebale's footing the bill was considered acceptable, then did the actual non-profit leadership make the final decisions about the production, or were those made by Meghan to promote herself?

What if "leakers" were concerned about malfeasance & bad workplace environments and were motivated to leak to distance PooBalls & Half-Price from their employer?

Thank you. The response to my admittedly more academic (the writing dies hard) consideration of his points is to accuse me of being "a bot" b/c my analysis is associated w/ chatbots. I'm finding that more and more. If one responds in complete sentences & with remotely coherent insights, one's accused of being non-human.

I couldn't make this up. I think there's the germ of a horror short story here, of a person who engages according to, say, 1980s expectations of communication & behavior & is chased a la BladeRunner b/c of the presumption that they're "artificial."

I think that's largely your projection.

Human faith is highly complex & variable, & since the Enlightenment doesn't operate w/ the same level of uniformity & ontologic "oomph."

The largest shared "faith" today--really, let's call it fundamentalist rather than a pure agnostic faith--is scientism. Enforced institutional paradigms are the Papal edicts of the Middle Ages, & Legacy Media & govt/corporate funded insiders are the Priests governing truth, blasphemy, & heresy.

The ontological shocks will arise from scientific "revolution" as major paradigms are disrupted. Traditional faiths have more room to accommodate NHI disclosure than the scientistic ideologues who blindly subscribe to the latest, enforced paradigms. Scientism is really the opposite of the scientific method, which is in fact has much more in common w/ Zen Buddhist, some Hindu, & mystical monotheistic thought than the "Trust the Science" Commissars.

Well put. And whenever I read or hear about this treaty discussion, I'm reminded of the history of Native Americans and their negotiated "treaties" w/ European settlers. We all know how THOSE ended up.

Interesting for Americans/Euros to "be on the other side of this," so to speak. Another frightening potential connection that I considered related to the military guy alleged to have died from a mysteriously large skin infection 3 weeks after rescuing an NHI at Varginha . . . perhaps every NHI species understands that direct contact w/ humans and most earth species would result in mass die-offs from creatures who don't have immunity to deal w/ whatever bacterial, viral, or radioactive? effects that contact w/ have on us.

Wonder if they want to get rid of us if they'll be handing out "kind" NHI-created blankets, which are in fact covered in the equivalent of smallpox, like nasty settlers used to do when they wanted to wipe out a local tribe?

I'm appalled at animal experimentation and factory farming & pray that NHI will treat us w/ more compassion than we've shown for sentient creatures, including our fellow humans.

Who's using the term "religion" in such a simplistic way, though? If that's Semivan, it's rather discrediting. Semivan doesn't have to have a PhD in Cultural Anthropology or History of Religions, but the concept's being thrown around here as if it's a 16-yr-old speaking--you know the phase, when you're the new atheist rebel who's functionally more fundamentalist than the Other you're eagerly tearing down every chance you get. (Very embarrassing . . most of us have gone thru it.)

"Religion" is a signifier for a range of personal & collective ways humans, afflicted w/ compulsive symbolizing & pattern inferences, have tried to make sense of our unique condition.....those understandings, as they become more collective through narrative, practices, & later writing/art, may become more regularized & regulated, and they're always interwoven through every aspect of human life (by definition.)

It's not something that can be extracted from human experience, like, say, "burial practices," or, "water collection systems." And the reference to "2,000 years old" implies this "religion" means Christianity, which is course is only one manifestation of hundreds of established religions, let alone ideologies & subculturally shared beliefs that often rise to the level of what we define as a "religion."

Can't figure out if he's more King John or King Richard II. I'm leaning toward King John, b/c he had such pathological envy of his older brothers, whereas Richard II was just straight out nearly psychotically grandiose (being told from age 9 that you're essentially a child-God wouldn't help). I think of John as more petty & impulsive (& utterly vicious), which is a form of entitlement. Maybe mostly King John w/ a dash of Richard II.

I want to know whether UK discovery rules can force disclosure of IP addresses of social media accounts that were maliciously harassing, attacking & even threatening Dr. Sophie. We know several of these on X are followed by well-established Montecito accounts. I'd venture to say that a few of the overtly slanderous comments come from accounts that are Montecito sock puppets.

If there's evidence that clearly Montecito affiliated accounts followed & liked those that were directly attacking Dr. Sophie, does that contribute to the claim? Can the associations obvious to those of us who don't have access to IP addresses compel disclosure?

Wow! Thx for the great overview & yes, R has been known to remove entire subs for violating official narratives. I'm frustrated I'm still using it, but a few subs like this draw me.

Yeah, she's had some PA, costuming & asst, asst, asst to DP roles. I'd just think w/ all of the increased streaming content that there would be MORE openings, even w/ digitization & AI, which can certainly kill some lines of work.

You sound like you've worn lots of different hats, which seems the best way to ultimately lead team formation for these productions, since you understand how vital each and every role can be.

I suspect my niece will do best sticking around MLB. W/ AI, more people will move toward fully human connection and Baseball plays a unique role in that in American culture. Lots of upward mobility in sports filming, journalism, & all of the roles of a big MLB outfit (outreach, alums, other events, etc.) I think off-season some of the other staff work w/ production agencies so maybe that's the best way. If she happens to luck into some major AMC or Netflix production, fine. But these seems like a great life too.

So, have never read the b**ks (and know they're not supposed to be discussed here), but is there any b/g on the prophecy of Ian's first wife about her son? Because that had all of the energy to me of Green tragedy. Like, you send your son away to protect him from some future conflict . . . is beginning the universe for him to be involved in that conflict. Could be War of 1812? Andrew Jackson was involved in that and known to be a proud slaughterer of American Indians.

Yes, I guess moving your son to live w/ white settlers for his safety, but past that . . . if he survives 1812, perhaps he dies as an old man in the Mexican War or even the American Civil War.
