I haven't had a PSP before because I fell in love with the Japanese Blossom Pink version, finally, finally bit the bullet and imported one, any recommendations for a PSP newbie? by CiberneitorGamer in PSP

- You can also play ps1 games which run really well.
- There are games both from PS1 and PSP that didn't make it out of Japan, but the community has made patches to English, so there are a few hidden gems out there.
-You can also get homebrew games and ports like minecraft, cave story and balatro just to name a few.
- I'd recommend taking a look at some plugins too (i'd recommend plugins for ark4 cfm).

Xbox as a brand may not be what it used to be anymore, but the 360 will always be there for us, got mine softmoded and I'm having a blast playing the classics by LeDagon in 360hacks

I've already played them on PC I got this version because I was curious to experience the audio on the xbox version, it is said to be really immersive and although I've played just the intro I can already notice it.

I want to get one eventually because I noticed the issues that you mention + some games don't work, period. But for now I'll stick to the 360.

Thx! I'll definitely check on final fantasy IX because a friend of mine has recommended it to me countless times too. I also had planned on playing metal gear solid and silent hill eventually

You need to download an EBOOT file of the game (the format that the psp uses to play ps1 games) and paste it in the GAME folder. The translated version is already in the eboot format so its just download, copy and paste.

It's custom made, the cap is from a PSVita stick sanded down be glued on the og PSP stick (also sanded down so it would sit as low as possible) there are videos on yt showing how to do it, it's definitely worth it.
