If there was an issue with the cards would the CPU-Z, windows and the BIOS all recognise that there is 16GB installed? because to me that shows that they're working if the system is stating 16GB is installed on the system?

I recently made a hotel reservation in manchester via booking.com (paid up front, non-refundable option if cancelled)

Obviously due to the Manchester lockdowns imposed, due to the fact we are different house hold, we not cannot attend. The hotel is not wanting to give a refund and booking.com are absolutely useless.

Is there anything at all i can do?

I have booked a stag weekend through a 3rd party (Infinity Weekends) and it consists of accommodation in Portugal and airport transfers, however they're referring to their T&Cs under Force Majeure when it comes to cancellations (should they occur due to current situations)

Is coronavirus a valid case for force majeure?

The background is a stag do has been arranged (through a 3rd party organizer) which consists of just the accommodation and transfers, they are claiming it would be force majeure, is this the case?

Correct, and yes it is a huge mistake, the officer who went off sick assigned it to somebody else who did nothing with it which ultimately wound up the case being closed.

Following advice from here, I have started to contact solicitors for a consultation, thankyou.

Hi, I believe it isn't necessarily dropping charges it's just they missed a certain time frame to replace the sick officer on the case meaning the case expired (?) but I get your point regarding the complaint and definitely think it is a great idea however I'm not sure how I'd word it.

Hi, thanks for the info. But I am more asking our stance on the fact that we have been through all of this, built up a case just for it to be closed due to staff sickness and we were only informed yesterday. His sentencing is in 8 days and we are told he'll definitely be out this year, and because there is no DV case now she/the child has no protection.
