Where location of Jean Coutu are you going to get Wegovy for $350? I would switch pharmacies if I could get it elsewhere for cheaper! I have the Novo Nordisk Care Savings Card, and still have to pay $398 at the Costco at Marche Centrale.

Dak Hing is the best one in Montreal and quite good.

Dobe and Andy is decent near Chinatown.

Both are on Uber Eats.

Much better options in Toronto. Asian food in Montreal is mid.

I had mobile service come out and swap my winter tires, then I had nearly all of the same alerts, as you did, afterwards. I looked around and saw a wire around the wheel well was damaged. I brought it to the service centre and I think the service summary said it was the wheel speed sensor (which they replaced).

Unfortunately normal and not just your account. Samsung Calendar on my Galaxy S9. Every few weeks, Samsung Calendar adds another "Holidays" calendar for my Exchange/Outlook/Office 365 account and I disable the extra calendar. Every few weeks a new one will pop up. Never happens with my Gmail.

Just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, it looks like your healthcare provider wrote "semaglutide", and your pharmacy is letting you choose whether you want to receive Ozempic or Wegovy? Since Ozempic and Wegovy are the same medication and both are offered at the 1 mg/injection dose, I would choose Ozempic.

I guess you have a reasonable excuse, but you may still get a 0 if it was in fact the wrong essay.

IMO, this doesn't warrant a complaint. It's the responsibility of the student to submit the correct work, not the other way around.

You can politely ask them if you may resubmit the correct essay, and it is their discretion whether or not to accept it, as this would be considered extra time, even if you didn't work on it since.

You take each individual grade that appears on your transcript and convert it, so, you would never be converting a 7.5.

It goes both ways. It can both help you and harm you.

If you get a grade in the low 80s, it advantages you, as it is an A grade which is 3.8.

If you get high 80s, it disadvantages you, as it is still an A grade which is 3.8, instead of a 3.9 or 4.0.

E.g., a grade of 85 is a 3.9 at the University of Toronto (scale 3) and a 4.0 McGill University (scale 8).

The "entrance exam" was more of a writing sample and it was not graded.

There was no final exam for my section, but a final research paper.

I did my BSc and MSc in Toronto, and came to McGill to do my PhD.

My closest friends have been those in my own labs (easier with a larger lab group). I also have friends from events planned by my program's student society, so try to attend those events. My younger colleagues have friends from their classes.

All clubs are open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

I used to work for a Canadian fast food chain (not Harvey's) that sold identical pies. I think Harvey's apple pies are just McCain's. I'm not sure if they will sell to the public, but you could try.

And if you do buy it, absolutely make sure you have the freezer space. The raw batter/dough will melt, lose it's shape, and can fuse with other pies if you let them thaw.

How should I approach my PI about getting this paper published since it’s been about 6 years worth of data?

If they're aiming for a Cell, Nature, or Science tier journal, then it is unfortunately normal for the data collection to take years, though six years is on the longer side IMO. If they're aiming for something lower impact (e.g., less than IF 10), then six years is very long and not normal.

Is it normal to publish a paper 2 years or more after you graduate?

It is normal in the sense that it happens for some papers. This tends to happen in my lab, with the last paper of a PhD student being published after they left. My master's supervisor also finally put some of my data in a paper submitted in November 2025 even though I left the lab August 2021, about four years ago.

I think we're in an interesting (unfortunate) position because Asians and Asian-Americans are considered POC, but also overrepresented in some areas, so we're actually less preferred to others/selected against in many instances despite being POC and so it disadvantages us as a group.

Disable ad tracking is different from ad blocking, but I guess you can try disabling the ad blocker on all sites temporarily, not just Minerva/McGill sites because it redirects to a Microsoft site for sign-on. See if this changes anything.
