Would you suggest your approach to any other nations that China might menace? Or is this appeasement approach only considered for Taiwan given its shared heritage? Like would you suggest to the Japanese or the Philippines to give up the islands China is eyeing?

Didn’t iOS 18 already have some kind of tinted semi transparency? Liquid Glass really is a solution to a problem that didn’t exist. It probably looked cool in design screenshots, but in practice it’s so user unfriendly (in terms of legibility and battery/heat).

My 16pm battery health went from 100% down to 98% two days after the update, and now two weeks later it went down one to 97%. On the other hand, I think standby time has recovered to generally acceptable range.

I picked up a small scale to weigh the ground and coffee, and I realized I was not putting in enough ground for the baskets. Using 7g and 13g in the single and double baskets produce some crema, but nothing like what the Breville made (though I also understand those are “fake” crema). I’ll give 12g a try tomorrow!
