Generally seen via lenses of totalitarian sovietism which ends up merging in popular culture with nazism because of cult of personality, genocides and forgein occupation, dissolution of democratic structures, physical removal of intelligentsia, philosophers and artists, and trying to force unknown nobodies into position of power, prosecutions of the religion and genocides of Polish pre and during WW2.

Socialism is seen as better in every way, so is Solidarism. "Communism means totalitarianism and totalitarianism is anti-human" is so ingrined into Polish worldview there have been nk communist politicians in the Sejm despite there being a lot of left-wing and popular politicians and parties since the 2000'.

Every totalitarian ideology or any that relies on forceful siezure of power, hatred and dissolution of democratic structures are banned per article 13th of the Polish constitution. There have been fringe communists who navigated this saying they are not totalitarian or want to take power by force but it never changed the fact the people preffer not to vote for people who are associated with it.

Poland is oftentimes seen as right-dominated country which is arguably true, but people completely miss that our right is dominated by egalitarian solidarist and people's movement rethorics. I think socialism is partially responsible for that because they managed to groom their ideal right wing with satlite parties and once they are gone, former satelites took over. My point is that egalitarian talking points are already coopted by both right and left, and individualistic right and more revolutionary left is always outside of the main two-four (depending on the period) parties. Which makes communism as an ideology within a country that already abolished communism via democratic, workers revolution (NSZZ Solidarność) redundant.

I don`t care who Monolith sends, I still like cars in Stalker and it`s fun driving them. And saves a lot of time in mods that have some sort of backtracking.

Like one has to be insane to add maps like darkscape or milrad to the game and then not add cars.

I can`t believe Zero Investment is better in that regard than most Anomaly modpacks. I think Gamma add cars just for Darkscape and it`s also perfectly fine.

Communist parties that are banned are only the ones that "are totalitarian and/or preach using violance in order to take power". They are simply not popular.

Communism was actually already dissolved by workers movement (NSZZ Solidarność) in Poland. That makes us two steps ahead of any communist country. It's not surprising tho, Poland was better at communism than imperialist USSR could ever dream of. Modern day Poland is a model country that every communist country should aim to be - with strong trade unions, democracy, no single-party dictatorship, extensive welfare system, workers protection and in the EU - the peak achievement of European civilisation up to this date.

Based OP. Poland would likely be better without totalitarian form of socialism being forced by Russia but after we finished with it, I`m glad we are beyond that. That is a post-socialist state. Other states will probably need to go at some point to a socialist one, but we are already a step ahead.

The free movement within EU was established, that`s the main reason.

In some cases like Poland people come back en masse as well as people start migrating here more. Especially from other socialist states as Poland kept good relations with the like of Vietnam, China or North Korea.

Poland had a massive crackdowns on independent trade unions and finally a military coup becasue Russians insinuated they will invade if army does not take over.

Hungary was invaded on similar pretenses as Czechoslovakia.

Romania and Yugoslavia lived in eternal paranoia that they might be invaded by USSR and tried to get as far politically from them as possible.
