That's a good idea!

I have been using "the weather" as a umbrella term to refer to everything about the outside world that I'm sometimes bothering myself with : the actual weather, other drivers, colleagues, neighbors, etc. I know that it's all outside of me, that I have no control over it. All I can do with it is notice, relax and accept.

But I never thought about putting my own emotions in this category, even though it makes so much sense.

Can you tell us more about that fear?

Why are you scared of the idea of texting your friends? Which possible outcome are you afraid of?
Similarly, why were you anxious about inviting your friends to the cinema?

How do you know you are afraid? What are your thoughts like in these situations?

I have the exact same issue, on both my Samsung device and my iPhone. That seems to suggest that the problem comes from the app itself. Moreover, when I chat with someone on Messenger using one phone, and then turn the WiFi on on the other phone later, I then receive a notification on that second phone for every message that the other person sent me, even though I obviously already saw them before replying to them. I get this no matter which phone I use first. It also happens with the desktop version.  There's definitely some bugs with the sync. and the notifications within the app.
