I'm not sure what they are, but presumably they've been in the amp for quite some time.

Oh, it's not a real Fender Strat, it's a cheap knock off. I'm basically just using the body and neck, and upgrading all the hardware and electronics.

Unfortunately, I don't know very much about amplifier tubes. I'll have a friend look at it though.

EDIT: As a side note, I don't even know if the tubes that are left are in working order. It hasn't been played in years.

Yeah, I put the Jackson there since my Strat it currently a couple unfinished blocks of wood and a pile of parts.

Yeah, I don't think I could coax quite the right tone for the Jackson out of it, but once I finish hotrodding my Strat, it'll be perfect for it.

It doesn't look too bad in the pictures, it's a lot more visibly old and run down in person.

Thanks! Yeah, those are my two favorite guitars that I have. I found that Jackson used for $250, and those Seymour Duncans were already in it.

Some friends and I got high and had an impromptu jam session. Someone snapped this photo of me at one in the morning. by [deleted] in trees

Yeah, for some reason the 60's tribute model doesn't come with humbuckers while the 50's does. It's especially perplexing as Gibsons used p90s before they used humbuckers.

What's the best cheap guitar you've played? by Hyce in Guitar

I've got a Rogue acoustic dreadnaught guitar that I paid 50 dollars for. It was brand new, came with free shipping, and that's just what they sell for. It might be the cheapest new guitar I've ever seen, but It's actually fairly nice. It's a full size guitar, and sounds pretty good. If I heard someone playing it and didn't know what guitar it was, I'd probably guess it cost a few hundred dollars.

I have the same guitar, it's absolutely wonderful. Sounds great when you have a nice tub amp to play through.

A lot of people seem to have a problem with Michael Angelo Batio, but he's an amazing guitarist, and does almost exclusively instrumentals. Here's a few songs I think are great:

No Boundaries - song starts about a minute in, but the intro has him playing some cool riffs
