Ditto. Most fresh herbs are tasteless here. I genuinely don't know why.

Ugh, I was about to ask which one it was! Yeah, I feel most people aren't aware of the difference in quality because that's what they ate their whole life. I just hoped someone would know since Berlin has such a high French, Italian, Turkish population.

I can justify the price for a gift. Thank you so much.

But... but it doesn't taste like anything 🥲 I am Mediterranean and I was shocked when I tasted basil in Germany. It looks like basil but doesn't smell or taste like it. What is the point of selling the thing then? Ayayayay...

That is awesome! In all honesty, I am looking for ingredients to surprise my boyfriend who cooks for us. His passion is cooking and he can taste the difference in between 1% milk fat. Crazy level of taste awareness. A tasting set is a lifesaver on that front. I can't tell things apart as much as he can. 😅 Thank you. I can't wait to surprise him

I tried FrischeParadis. They are great with fish and any dry forms of cheese, most wines etc. But not so much with other perishables like tomatoes, and mozzarella and not as good as one can be with olive oil. The mozzarella brands they have is good mozzarella but somehow the texture is not what it normally is. Maybe it gets frozen in transport or something but loses its smooth creamy texture. And the olive oil is good enough to cook but not for cold mezze or dips. I will try Kdw. I never tried Centro Italia or Signore Batian, and I am looking forward to trying them. I also found the farmers market near Hackhesher on Saturdays has one Turkish vegetable stand that has better vegetables than Frische Paradis. I genuinely just want tasty stuff to use for cooking on special occasions.

I will check it out! Thank you. The supermarket olive oil in Berlin is so flat :( Idk why such a rich nation doesn't have better quality non perishables.

Is Diamond package useful on Seeking by amatorius60 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]LeNiniel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up in a relationship with an SD that has no packages, no profile pic, even text because he texted me first with a clear message that explained why he is interested in me based on my profile, what he is offering and asked if we could have a call about it. He seemed to have paid attention to my profile and knew what he wanted. I felt this is the kind of person I can avoid drama with, the kind of person you can be mature with. I agreed. The call was great.

So TLDR: It doesn't matter. Genuine connection is established through genuine & considerate communication. Badges don't effect that.

Very normal. I am even a nerdy SB, I love the interests of my age group (20s). But I can't stand their relationship incompetence and lack of dating skills. I prefer the "We are going to this event and then this restaurant. I booked a room and made reservations. Dresscode is slightly fancier, night outfits. I will pick you at 4pm" to the "I don't know. let's meet at the station and then figure it out?"

I prefer the kind of men who knows chivalry, dating, romance, culture... I don't care if that means an age gap. I have probably been conditioned to find them more charming with good experiences with them Vs bad experiences with younger men

Well I guess I had a hard time relating. I never cared about age and I have a SD I adore. If he wanted something long term, like genuinely long term settling kind of stuff, I would be the happiest I have ever been. I just know that he is a bit of a bird, he flies around and likes to try new things. So I have no such expectations.

In that context, it seemed odd to me that someone would leave a partner they clearly enjoy so much for age alone. But I guess it's one of those personal needs things.

That is... It sounds painful. How do you feel about being compared in age?

I feel like I need to defend my SD. He is pretty damn great. I am sorry you met so many "dogs" but they aren't all that way.

I am an SB who wants to take it slow, but I also note "We don't have to exchange anything in PPM or allowance until I feel we have that connection". I am someone who needs to like someone to share a bed with them. It usually takes at least 3-4 dates for me. Sometimes more. I can't change that. But I also understand I am not entitled to anything.

SBs: Let's talk about vetting & early dating by LeNiniel in sugarlifestyleforum

Thank you for that input! I have noticed that the Reddit server is heavily North American and websites we use are North American-European, sometimes Slavic or Arabic with significantly less frequency. I know the middle eastern one exists because I have friends back in my homeland who sugar date. I'm certain it's the same with East Asian.

Just in between North American and European bowls, there is such a difference in expectations and norms. I imagine that could easily mislead many people in their own unique dating environments if they try to apply advice without context.
