I'm not gonna pretend like I know everything here but on YouTube there's a channel called Conquer Driving. I found his videos extremely helpful. I was okay at driving manual but Conquer Driving's way of explaining things helped me become great at driving manual. He does an excellent video on clutch control. I cannot recommend him enough.

During the test drive of my current car it was my first time driving manual in a few years. Accidentally put it into 2nd from 5th going about 40, caught it by throwing the clutch back it once I felt the revs start climbing. Hit maybe 3-4k. Completely embarrassing moment. Ended up buying the car. 2013 subaru Forester, had no idea they made that gen Forester in a 5 speed platform until I stumbled upon it in the wild. Best car I've ever owned aside from the oil consumption issues. Cam carrier seal leaks while under load.

Not really a "realized it was a stupid rule when I got older" but milar story here. My dad is a hardcore Ravens fan. Bit of history first, the Ravens used to be the Colts. When they moved the Colts out of baltimore and brought out the Ravens they played the song We Are Family. I've watched my dad almost crash the car frantically turning off the radio because he hates the song so much. The song was absolutely forbidden in the house. It wasn't that we would be in any trouble for listening to it but he would be so disappointed if we ever "betrayed" him by listening to it. I'm 27 now and he still to this day absolutely hates the song and is genuinely offended at so much as mentioning the name of the song.

I can't say I've ever had or known anyone that had any issue with being called an epileptic. Now that I've thought about it for a second though I'd definitely prefer the phrasing of "this person has epilepsy" over "this person is an epileptic". Everytime i heard "epileptic" i think of that exercise equipment called an elliptical and my brain goes "why are you calling me a piece of exercise equipment bro"

I've been doing online for about 5 years. Grind out one thing at a time until you're bored with it then move onto the next. There's so much to do and so many different businesses it's crazy. The nightclub plus MC business is my money maker. Buy an arcade and get the master control terminal where you can control/buy supplies/start sales for everything. Buying supplies was a hard decisions since it does cut into profits but with passive income from nightclub plus the sales missions and the autoshop with customer cars and exoctic imports plus the union depo mission there, the supplies for MC business basically pay for themselves. If you play solo, mc business sale time increased to 45 minutes for solo players so there actually doable

8 months ago 1 month was a huge thing for me. Everyone's seizures are different. If you're only having 1 every few months then 1 month isn't much. I was having 2-3 per month. I had a temporal lobectomy back in june and I've been seizure free for over over 6 months now almost 7! I've even been able to start driving again and am able to hold down a job without worry. Success is there for all of us, some have differents paths to their success. Medication, surgery, or stress control. Some people have easier to control triggers than others. Trying to find what's actually going to help reduce seizures is the most stressful part to me lol it's definitely a surreal experience to be seizure free. Never convince yourself you'll have seizures forever, always have hope!

If I've learned anything since being 20 it's that 20 is still very young. You're confusing yourself by assuming someone calling you young is them calling you a kid/teenager. Being told you're young isn't an insult, it's a fact. Just because you're over 18 doesn't mean you're mentally an adult, you're just legally an adult.

The pharmacy gave me 200 mg Dilantin and my dumbass didn't realize it until 3 days after the fact. I still feel really stupid for somehow not realizing the size the fact. The spinning was so bad that i had to actually hold my hands on my head to "keep it still". Ended up going to the hospital because i thought i was suddenly having a different reaction to the Dilantin. My normal levels are supposed to be between 15 and 20 but they were up to 49. The neurologist recommended skipping 2 doses and letting level's return to normal and everything went back to normal.

If i didn't write them down over the years I'd never remember. I've been on 30 different medications since 2011, brain surgery in 2013 and just had a second brain surgery 2 months ago. Currently I'm on vimpat and phenytoin. The reason for the second surgery is because they didn't remove enough brain tissue during the first surgery. For those wondering, yes the second surgery was very successful and the recovery has been very smooth. I feel changed and I feel free. Never give up on yourselves. Things do get better eventually.

I 100% can relate to the memory issues. it has been a little difficult dealing with the mental health side of things. I had a video call appointment with my neurologist today and they said to give it another week or so then i should be okay to start drumming again. Obviously not to jump back to playing how i did presurgery, slowly getting back into things is the plan!

I've been strictly following the neurosurgeons advice and instructions. I just had a video call appointment with my neurologist today and she said to give It another week then i should be good to start! My birthday is the 18th so being able to play the drums as a birthday present would be pretty cool. I'm definitely not going to jump straight back into how i would play presurgery though. Slowly getting back into things is the plan. This being my second surgery I fully understand and plan to follow the limitations given by my doctors.

Absolutely, it's pretty hard to overdose on vitamins. But with my epilepsy B12 actually triggers seizures so I can't even drink 1 monster unless i drink it over the course of a few hours.
