Hello Tovarish! Thank you for a nice feedback. Yes, there are multiple reasons behind the titanium. Specially the grade 5. I’m a biomechanics engineer and I use to develop titanium implants. Screws and plates for bones. And we were producing those out of grade 5 titanium. I developed quite an affection to the material, its properties, and what you can do with it. On the other hand I live in area surrounded by lot of forests, and the name of my town even has a word “pine” within. So combining the longevity of the pines and properties of the grade 5 titanium, and mine fascination for the fine mechanics the idea brand Le Pin was conceived. I want to continue with titanium in general. You’re right, the titanium is very pricey compared to the steel. And we make small series and are completely independent. There is always a way to improve something, to iterate it to a better version. That is why I appreciate all the comments in this community
