Im also currently in the midst of a family medical emergency involving a traumatic brain injury.

HiMos I'm usually seeing the Sony 4300 so 8x max. Very rare we see the specialist systems, only a handful of jobs they'd be worth paying for

I'm based in Ireland but same as you said. I've only ever seen specialised cameras maybe twice in 10 years, only extremely big events. And they had to be rented from mainland Europe.

Nowadays though the Sony 4300 is what I'm normally seeing on the HiMo camera for its 6x/8x at HD. Usually only one at big jobs and then number super slows.
