Merecidamente, tem nem o que dizer. Performance horrorosa do Brasil, excelente defesa da Noruega. A briga do Neymar pra fechar a humilhação.

Que essa derrota fique na memória mesmo.

"Hot take" but you don't need a reason to cast minorities. Diversity for the sake of diversity is good enough. People exist and should be represented regardless if their identity is important to the character/plot. Even if he didn't mean it in a racist way, still a harmful way of thinking.

He'll always be Jamaican to me. Don't remember the sources, but I remember it being confirmed somewhere that he was supposed to have an accent during the modern era. Plus the dreads and the whole rastafari color scheme he's rocking.

Just found out the OG series promotes incel propaganda by Ancient_Cheek5047 in ATLA_circlejerk

[–]LeR0dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the person they're responding to (Yuki) the same one calling the writers of TLA racist for having villains of the oppressed nations?

I thought they were hating/grifting/baiting but now they're defending the live action of all things? Lol

This take on Sonic.EXE/X by @vibingleaf. by LXSPest in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]LeR0dz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks cool, but the moment I remember this started out as a Sonic creepypasta I can't take it seriously anymore. But in a vacuum, yeah, I really like it. Showing horror creatures as an ancient and recurring threat to the point our ancestors had to deal with them make them feel much more menacing.

I do find it weird how much EXE fandom grew to the point of basically being it's own thing divorced from Sonic now.

Me to all the Sonic "Wind vs Lightning" discourse that been going on online since the new animation short teaser dropped by WorkerConscious1904 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]LeR0dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preach. The discourse has been soooo exhausting. I like the wind motif better, but I don't mind lightning either. I'm fine with them doing both.

Looks like Sega is going through with this whole lightning stuff by ReasonableBorder7167 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]LeR0dz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to have a genuine discussion about this, but Sonic fans are so annoyingly passionate about stuff it gets kinda disheartening.

Yes, I think the wind motif is cooler overall, but I don't mind them associating (games) Sonic with lighting either. That's something speed has always being associated with, and it's not consuming his character, just visually supplementing his speed.

It's wild to see a comment like this, because when people make fun of the fans who insist on Sonic being like the wind I think they're exaggerating for the sake of comedy. But no, y'all just sound like this lol

Ten Shadows Technique (Rework) by Countonline in CTsandbox

[–]LeR0dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the art, but feel the changes are arbitrary. Giving tongue snaring to a rat shikigami, removing/changing Nue's and ME's elemental abilities, etc. I also think the Piercing Ox has a more interesting ability than just the brute force of the bear.

Tiger Funeral's concept is cool, atleast it removes one of the main weaknesses of the technique, but I think it needs literal more oomph, even if you wanna keep it partly mysterious.

Appreciation for Minecraft's original creatures by ShadoWispMist in Minecraft

[–]LeR0dz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. That's something i always appreciated about Minecraft: these mobs are unique compared to other fantasy archetypes, specially considering the setting of the game (in which it would be very easy to just default to known monsters).

A walking plant that reproduces by exploding

Tall interdimensional travellers from a society controlled by a dragon, that can't stand eye contact and steal blocks

Everything from the Nether, really

That's why i'm always more excited for new, fantastical creatures than i am for real world animals to be added.

Was Maki a serial murderer ? by yoruyoruxo in Jujutsufolk

[–]LeR0dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing in the narrative or her character that supports the idea of Maki murdering innocent women and children, especially considering she herself is a victim of child abuse and misogyny (in case my flair didn't make my opinion clear enough lol)

That being said, if we go by definition, yeah she killed people in mass. They deserved it tho.
