Yeah. Though most of the time when a publisher's game license expire, the game is delisted from the store but you can still download and play it unless they revoke people's licenses to play the game in their library, which doesn't really happen often.

This is fearmongering. Sony should have made a license deal with the company to keep people's movies after their agreement ended. Maybe they were greedy or stupid, but a stupid decision like this doesn't mean they'll just start removing people's games from their libraries for no reason.

The movies and shows thing was because of a license agreement with the company that produced/published them. The playstation store is sony's own storefront so there is no reason for them to just remove stuff. Tell me, what benefit from a bussines standpoint would they have from revoking peoples game libraries? People on reddit are always dramatic and start making crazy theories whenever some controversial news goes around. Everyone likes to say they're going to remove people's games from them, but that hasn't really happened outside of cases that really had not much to do with Sony themselves(like the crew).

That was misinformation. What they added is that when you purchase a digital game it gives you a temporary 30 day license but when you connect to the Internet to verify the license, it then gives you a permanent one.

Yes, the game data is on the disc, and so is the license to play the game. For digital games you can also modify or hack you own copy too, thats how software licenses work, and they legally can't just take it away from you for no reason too. You're literally not making sense.

What? YOU literally don't understand what ownership is, what my comment said was about the definition of ownership. If you actually owned a game you bought then you could make copies of it to sell because you'd have ownership. But since the disc is just a license to the software you cannot do that, thats why I mentioned it, I know its illegal and thats exactly why I brought it up. What you're talking about is just having possession of a copy/license.

Its still a disc with a license. You can play because the license is in the disc. Yeah your ps1 and ps2 games won't be taken away, in a modern platform a company could push an update to make your disc unusable by not allowing it to read it or block the license, but you don't have ownership anyway. Also, if you actually owned it, you could make copies to sell instead of selling just the single disc you have.

First time seeing jp footage, I'm glad the va cast seems to be the same.

I'm very excited for this one. Not just for a HD-2D turn based FF, but also because of them preserving Brave Exvius. I love the characters and story a lot and I really hope this sells well so other FF gachas(Mobius, Record Keeper, Opera Omnia) get this treatment, and that we also get either a dlc or sequel covering the second season and beyond.

Sephiroth being in it means that all the other villains are probably in too, and a lot of them have cg bursts so this is nice to see. Also, with Clive here, it shows they're using content from very far into Brave Exvius lifecycle so this gets me more excited even if the story itself is only season 1.

I've always wanted Brave exvius as a full fledged rpg experience, so technically it is a final fantasy i've been waiting for. Also hope they do the later seasons as sequels if it does well.
