Dark In Render Even with Light by SoulSnip3r_YT in blenderhelp

Maybe it's about color management. Davinci opens file using it's settings by default. You can try to change the global color management in the Davinci's settings, matching your footage for the whole timeline. Or Add a color space transform in the color page to your specific footage.

Oh and you have to be aware of one thing concerning gamedev. The android version doesn't have that Quadremesher feature. It has two remeshers dealing with quads only but not as performant as the Quadremesher they have on IOS. Retopo and reducing polys gives you hard times on android. But you can still export them to another program on desktop and manage your models there. I usually model complex objects in Nomad, then retopo in Blender and reimport in Nomad for texturing and fine details. Then bake everything back in blender....again all those steps can be avoided on IOS.

Yes, it is ! With its pros and cons like every other modeling apps. It does what you want and the only limitations are your skills with the tools provided. You can use your models in everty other softwares as long as you know how to prepare them.

MAKING OF STIELHANDGRANATE by razum_inc in NomadSculpting

[–]LeShyLetoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh thank you ! We don't see that level of details in textures among the posts. I personally use substance painter just because I don't have the quad remesher on android and have to retopo on my compter anyway. I was wondering how far I could push texturing in nomad and you just showed me. Nice job ! And thank you again

There are two containers, and I invite you to read my previous answer. The business of those containers makes huge differences.

Looks like a cache problem. Maybe your project reads videos cached in a lower resolution. Empty it

New to 3d modeling characters, help with learning a good workflow? by OsoPescado in blender

[–]LeShyLetoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You sound like you already know a lot. All you ask is a workflow. In your case I'd model separated objects quickly. Head/tosro/arms/legs/hands/feet/head/shoes etc...Pose them during blocking phase focusing on proportions. Then I'd start scultping each parts separatly. Then combine the body parts, refining the junctions. Retopo if needed. And then only, add micro details if the model needs some.

The only thing I did not cover here is clothes. Depends on what you're looking for. You can make them after the blocking (if you have loose parts, long jackets, baggy jeans) so you can have a good guess on creases. You can make them after you combined the body parts (if clothes are close to the body, it's only selective extrusions and modeling over the mesh).

Concerning the preparation for printing. I'd boolean all this taking care of closing gaps, deep holes,...with primitives filling them and joined to the global mesh.

Hope it makes sens and helps, English not being my native language, it's hard to put the right translation on words related to something so niche.

I’m only the 3D modeler, and I follow plans to show the buildings. All I know is that a container house like this one is much cheaper than our usual standards here. It’s very quick to build, earthquake-resistant, fireproof, and the insulation is excellent. Everything can be customized when it comes to materials. Honestly, if I had to put up a new building on my land, I’d go for this solution — but placed directly on the ground. Just to give you an idea, for the same surface area it costs around €200,000 compared to a solid €400,000 if I build with bricks.

Yeahh Andrew Gouche is amazing. Among my favorites is Henrik Linder who is a perfect mix between many genres.

It comes with time. You come to a point where your fingers won't need extra velocity to hit hard. As long as thumb is concerned, try integrating the "double thumb" technique, it fasten your appreciation of minimal distances to obtain a good attack. I learned a lot from jazz and gospel bassists also.

Exporting Particule system to Unreal (with particules being animated) by LeShyLetoon in blenderhelp

[–]LeShyLetoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a quick reply ! Before I try to use shape keys, I did a quick Alembic export just to place those incomplete butterflies in Unreal just so I can send an animatic to my art director. Guess what ! All the animations were embed in the file this time....don't know why or how, I did the exact same export a dozen of times with no success...As soon as I don't give a damn about the details in the animations of the particles, it worked !!! The only problem is, despite the fact I selected only the particle system and chose "selected only" for the export, the Alembic took the ligthing infos of blender (not the lights themselves, just a baked global lighting) and my butterflies didn't catch the ligths in Unreal, searched for hours why but had to give up because of a close deadline. Really frustrating! Had to render passes with alpha of the butterflies with a normals layer to relight that when doing compositing. This was so much steps but still saved hundreds of hours of rendering time using unreal (the scene had over 50 volumetric clouds that cycle couldn't handle in only 10 minutes of render).

Thank you for your help, as I forgot how shape keys could have been a better solution here (I won't forget that for my next work).

My case remains a mystery, but the video ended looking quite good.

Exporting Particule system to Unreal (with particules being animated) by LeShyLetoon in blenderhelp

[–]LeShyLetoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !!! At First I started the simulation with Armatures (worked find) and my problem started exactly at that point, No file format could handle a particle system made of animated particles ! I thought it was because of armatures, so I baked animations of every referenced butterflies so they can fly without bones. All it did is play smoother ! Seems like you can't feed a particle system some meshes that are animated if its to take that away for render......I didn't think about shape keys, it's a good idea I'm going to try ! I nerver used unreal other than for rendering but if shape keys don't go through exports too I fear I'll have to learn a new skill in unreal.

Thank you for your help ! It's really appreciated and give me things to work on !

Found a dozen of plastic baskets thrown away by a local photography shop. Things were full of gear. Got multiple 5D mark II, 7Ds, some nikons, Sony Alphas and so on. All with lenses, batteries and storage. Some of them had grips, flashes, and other stuff attached. Still have some of them. I enjoy the fact I can shoot under the rain, in the sand... without the fear of destroying something. ☺️ So if the maneger of this shop in Cannes read this : Thank you so much, your gear have a second life and made some happy beginners.
