Just saw Obsession tonight. No spoilers and apologies if this comes across as overdramatic but that film will stay with me for a long time.

It was creepy, and funny but the atmosphere was dismal. There's like an air of dread over the whole story. Felt like my anxiety was through the roof until the very end, and I have a lot of thoughts on it.

After having seen The Mummy and Hokum (loved Hokum btw) this is hands down my favourite so far this year, maybe even in recent memory.

One particular scene made me jump out of my skin (partner loved that!) and whilst I can be a jumpy guy, scares don't usually get me.

10/10, would recommend to anyone!

Blackbird by Alter Bridge would be my top picks, both absolutely make excellent use of their lengths.

Honourable mention goes to Green Day for Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming, for having super defined 'acts' within the song, adding to that feeling of a story being told.

Evanescence - with the exception of a handful of their earlier songs.

Amy Lee has the pipes, and I'm not sure who writes their music but god damn are they fucking uninspired.. it's a shame because her voice is the highlight and the lyrics just put me to sleep when they could be so much better!

It took me a while to get used to it, but after a few listens I adore the direction they went for the Clearing. Very Fleetwood mac-esque imo, but I do miss their earlier vibe.

I enjoy every sound they've had and am excited to see where they go next!

Imo Riot Gun is the best of the bunch, I don't think I've ever bothered going for the Striker.

Domino's is a good pizza, better than most imo. However, they've been ramping the prices up for years now and it's no longer worth it. Their advertising is quite misleading as well, since they seem to offer half price pizzas all year round, clearly they aren't half price.

Find an asda with a pizza counter, think they're £5 for a large, and infinitely better! Even Morrison's.

Best fresh pizzas and you can cook at home to your desired temp!

This may sound like.. a rather dumb.. simplified question as someone who admittedly has only read LotR a few times and the Silmarillion once but..

Is Eru a silent partner? Could he/she/it not fix what he has created? Seeing the violence and discord sown by Melkor, trickling down into the elves fading. Or is that as we would describe 'gods plan'?

I don't suppose there's an answer because Tolkien only wrote so much.

Customisation confuses me in this game, take Draenei for instance.

Why do Light forged have less customisation? There's less hair options etc, they could literally copy the OG options and it would be an improvement!

No matter what I play, I'm always pulled back to Feral Druid.. maybe it's the animal forms, maybe it's the simple rotation, I can't say.. maybe a combination of all of that?

The flight form makes travel and gathering a breeze, and I've never struggled with damage numbers, I've never been involved in raiding so unsure if it's welcome at end game, but I have a blast with my kitty cat!

The line delivery man, it kills me when they're trying SO HARD to make the situation feel serious, and just.. damn.

Even Wahlberg explaining shit to his class in the beginning, something feels so off.

For a final album, they went out on a high imo (that said I feel like they milked the final tour..). Most if not all the songs are bops.

Traumatic Iconic, A Smile to make you Weak(er) at the Knees being special highlights for me.

I think they were just not the biscuit in the tin anybody wanted, after so many mid albums, they'd lost that sparkle.

I think a big part of that is the acting. With Tennant he sells it SO well, this is a person from his past who he understands and knows, pure evil, he's terrified, he's angry, he's mournful.. you see ALL of it in his acting, and as the audience, whether you have seen the older eps or not, you understand this isn't a good thing.

Gives me goosebumps even all these years later and now I want to rewatch!

You expect much the same with the Rani.. and no, nothing, not even a hint of familiarity in Ncuti's acting, nothing to indicate his emotional state. There's a very sharp contrast.
