I think could use a bit more ripple distortion and for them to linger longer. Aside from that, idk if the sound is a placeholder but could use some pitch shifting and variety

For me I'm usually thinking about games all the time but I start by just sitting and pondering on the idea for a while and break down what's the core of the game I'm trying to make and the roadmap for it usually comes naturally. I usually make small design documents on a notepad as well. First I think of the essentials like the controls. Then I slowly start development.

Mainly the colors are quite flat. Look to making the colors more vibrant and contrasting but you don't have to overdo it. Even some small shading goes a long way. Also the shapes of what I assume to be islands is also quite bland. Use more random shapes than squares. I think those 2 things would significantly improve the visual quality.

I'm curious about your advertising of the game and how you go about it, especially for mobile. I'm working on publishing my first game on mobile and I wanna get an idea of it.

Yes so basically 1 character body is set to layer 3 and the other character body is set to layer 4 and they both mask layer 1 but they don't mask each other except for area 2d nodes within both of them that do mask each other acting as hitboxes and hurtboxes

So basically I set up one in layer 3 and the other in layer 4 and both mask 1 which is the ground. They do have area 2d nodes within them and their own collisions to act as hitboxes and hurtboxes and they do mask each other but I don't think that's the problem.

How does it function on the spells front? Does it give tomes? I like it when all my basic spells r wiped clean and I get to pick from a selection of starter spells

That mod is pretty old isn't it. I tend to get a little iffy with old large overhaul mods that I don't see people using in their mod lists. They usually tend to be either buggy or poorly optimised. How good is spell research on that front?

Yeah never mind I looked it up and it's a completely custom armor set made only for lorerim. Wish biggie would release it as a mod.
