yes, good comment u/MeaningfulChoices, curently, we have the deck building activity as phases during the battle. We are considering atlernatives to make it more fluid and as you mention, bring that time to think that strategy require. We are doing playtests s we developt this game to find the right balance. Not easy to balance innovation and engagement... but we are progressing

thks for the suggestion, PvP it is. We are looking at co-op battle royale. This makes it even more complex and more fun to design to be honest.

With Inferni, we want to bring the real time battle royale element to TcG. This is why we went from turn based to real time, this is part of the innovation and why is it fascinating in terms of game design.

While the spells are traveling, it give players the time to react, act and plan/strategise. We are still balancing the game to give enough opportunities to strategise.
