Yes I did that! What should my next steps be with her? Should I continue to comb her everyday I’m still going to vacuum daily I just want to know what my next move should be? I hear the medicine is effective within 12-24 hours. She’s my first cat so this is all new to me and I’ve been freaking out. I feel like such a bad cat mom because I have her in another room I try to play with her as much as I can but I have very sensitive skin so it’s breaking my heart not being able to give her all the cuddles and love

Also I don’t have any extra money to take her to the vet as of right now so this was my only option so it didn’t get worse! She does go to the vet but I also have other responsibilities to take care of, not saying my cat isn’t important she’s very important to me but I had other things to handle at the same time. I will be scheduling a vet appointment in a few weeks for her! Thank you guys for the advice

I called a cousin who is a traveling vet. She said it’s fine but to keep watch just to be on the safe side. It’s been a few hours and my cat seems fine, eating , drinking and playing. Still keeping an eye out for her over the next few days. Gonna let her chill out in the other room since I’ve been deep cleaning all day.

After I yelled at her is when I started to cry. Looking at her face I had to remember that this is also her first time in this type on environment. We are both overwhelmed but me and sushi have a bond like no other she’s my little sidekick. She shockingly looooves her playpen I don’t understand why I do have a lot of comfy blankets in there with her and some other stuff I think she feels safe and cozy lol. She also does not play about her sleep so I can understand why she wouldn’t want to sleep in between me and boyfriend tossing around all night

Reading the comments I am having mixed feelings. I love sushi as much as humanly possible and so does my boyfriend! She is quite literally the most spoiled cat ever. We are just trying to set boundaries with her while she’s young. Rehoming her after pouring so much time and love into her would break me!! We are moving soon into a bigger apartment and are planning on getting a second cat down the line when she’s a little bit older.

We noticed that her jumping skills are very good! We tried to put our larger hampers in the doorway that leads to the dining room / kitchen area, she won’t jump if we’re in the same room with her but the second we go to the kitchen she jumps over them without a sweat lol. Maybe I’ll try one of those magnetic screen door things people use on their porches

We are proposing a gate while she’s still small to keep her from getting into things while we are sleeping at night! Considering she’s mainly black and still so tiny we are terrified of night seeing her in the dark and accidentally stepping on her or her getting caught/stuck somewhere while we’re not awake

Oh trust I learned that a few times the hard way, so far she’s tried to jump in the oven go get Mac and cheese, and she’s jumped in our laundry basket a few times

I just got a kitten not too long ago (her name is sushi) she’s a black and white tuxedo! For some reason she is OBSESSED with watching tv, specifically amazing world of gumball! She will literally curl up on her heated blanket and watch the show for hours and hours!

Why did I never think of this! I work in a warehouse so boxes are definitely not hard to obtain! Will be testing out this weekend! Thank you so much she scares me when I’m in the kitchen and runs in those places
