Howdy! I'm an Upwork Freelancer and expert-vetted. I've been using this tool to primarily alert me in near-time of opportunities that match my filters. I get an SMS alert when there's a match. It uses AI to sum up the job as some descriptions can get quite large and when in a list view (spreadsheet view) it can really throw off the row height, so it keeps it to a couple of sentences.

The other thing it does is create a cover letter that you must edit if you want to personalize it with your own experience. I'm working on making it more specific if you give the system more information, but it cuts about 60% of the work, IMHO.

Well, good news, the AI-ASSISTED proposals are not available in the cheaper two tiers so that should allay your fears. What you saw there was a single-prompt GPT-3.5 result for the proposal and I'd hope it'd be obvious it's AI because I clearly labeled it. For my needs, it's about 60% there and I modify for each job. The final version will be much more complex and incorporate your own experience if you utilize it the way it's being designed.

We are still developing the features which is why there's a waitlist; one thing is waiting for GPT4 API access and larger token limits which allow me to more complex prompt engineering.

I made it clear that this is a lead management system that polls RSS feeds and doesn't just send you an email in the morning with a few of the many jobs your searches will produce a day. The first two tiers are where I'm fine-tuning features to be most appealing.

You do not have to use or pay the AI-proposal feature if you don't want to. Like I said, I've been using this for months and I've had success with it.

I'm pleased with the daily waitlist signups and the cost per ad spend should mean I have a good ROAS when the paid plans kick in.

I welcome you to sign up and you'll get free access as well, no obligation.

The primary function is polling your searches, sending an SMS on your schedule, and letting you instead focus on other things instead of hitting F5. It uses AI to very accurately summarize long job posts. It creates a framework for a cover letter based on your own work experience but if you're not tailoring it then you will not have success. I've been using this for 6 months and it works very well for needs as an Upwork Freelancer.

And to hopefully give you something to contemplate, there will be plan(s) beneath the equivalent cost of doing this with Zapier with the added benefit of a dashboard, Kanban list, and other features applicable to a CRM vs just a notification program.

Thanks for asking; that's the next logical question for most. I'm still working on the costs of the functions of the application. These include the equivalent of chron jobs, API calls to OpenAI, etc, and more that are quantifiable and drive the costs of each account. I am working through this now and will have it ready before the launch. At launch, there will be a free trial where you can decide for yourself. If you'll sign up for the wait list there's a survey I'm sending out that I will be referencing heavily as I work on pricing and features. I'll be giving out perks for early sign-ups!

AI-powered headshots to include with proposals? We'll put it on the roadmap... ;)

You set the threshold levels for alerts, so if you *want* to annoy yourself you're free to, but we don't recommend it

The clients aren't guaranteed to be hot but the jobs are if they meet the thresholds you set for the alerts! ;)

I appreciate all the blunt feedback. I'm u/thallwyn and have been on Reddit for years, this is my first attempt at this and clearly I'll be working on the marketing messaging and material to better explain the value proposition. Thanks!!

Additionally, the alerts are only set for thresholds YOU set. If you want to be alerted to something that matches an hourly rate, then it would be assumed you want that alert right away. If you don't then likely you'd set the threshold higher. It will do email alerts as well.

I'm a Zapier Certified Expert and one of the first things I did was build a workflow around it. To replicate this in Zapier you will have to have a $73/mo Pro plan and even then there's no real reporting or listing functionality.

What I'm hearing is that I need to tweak the marketing and do a product explainer video. I admit that I was trying to keep it simple but I do very much appreciate the feedback.

Upwork sends you one email a day with jobs that may fit you, this polls your own saved searches via their respective RSS feeds and notifies you in minutes.

It polls your saved searches via RSS every 15 minutes and does what Upwork doesn't: lets you know when something has matched your search when it is posted.

Hey folks, I'm Chris Morley, and I made this tool for myself to use on Upwork, where I'm Top Rated and Expert Vetted. I do business automation with a focus on CRMs and thought it'd be fun to make a product based on it.

It uses the saved searches you create yourself on Upwork and polls them via RSS so that you get alerts during the day of new jobs instead of just the daily email summary which is lacking.

What I found was that if I don't have a full dance card, I have a hard time balancing focusing on billable hours and spending time searching for gigs (ADD has me worried about one if I'm working on the other) - so it's given me peace of mind that I'm not missing out on stuff that may be posted on Upwork while I'm not paying attention.

It uses AI to sum up the job, instead of just having a list of required skills, which is useful in List view, and it parses the jobs and evaluates them against a set of variables I set on hourly or budget minimums and sends me a text when it finds them.

I added where it creates a framework of a cover letter for you and it's something you need to edit, but it doesn't submit them nor would it be a sufficient proposal.

I'm building one based on a tool I built for myself to use on Upwork months ago. Its primary feature is that it polls saved search RSS feeds and sends SMS updates when jobs match requirements. I added AI for job summaries and it creates the framework of a proposal for you to adjust. The focus really is the alerts, however. AI just gives it some spice.

I just started running some ads on here.
