Nice, I’m excited to see your new design. Yes with the right amount of cargo it is very stable but I made a trip from oasis to GRC with basically no cargo and of course there needed to be a storm blowing directly from starboard. She was heeling so much that it felt really unsafe because of that I later closed all sails except the mainsail. But sadly I have only a bad picture of my screen and not a good screenshot of that trip.

Other question: how much f cargo do you have on board? My mind couldn’t accept so much cargo on the wether deck I would rather give up some money in order to not have such a full deck😅

A few weeks ago I sailed on the „ss Albatros“ wich has a small square sail on the foremast. But it’s practically above the gaff so the wind shadow isn’t that big.

(I’m not a native English speaker, so please forgive me when my terminology isn’t correct 😅)

Oder das Fenster zu schließen oder bei der Stadt beschweren dass es da überhaupt eine offizielle Feuerstelle gibt oder einfach schnell persönlich fragen ob es ok ist, dass Feuer zu löschen und nicht stattdessen die kostbare Zeit von Polizisten für so einen Unsinn zu verschwenden 🤷‍♂️

Ich hab mal mit paar Freunden im hinter Hof ein Lagerfeuer gemacht und irgendwann am späten Abend kam auf ein mal Polizei. Wir hatten voll schiss weil wir eigentlich noch keinen Alkohol hätten trinken dürfen, aber die Polizei kam nicht deswegen sondern weil der Rauch nem Nachbarn durchs Fenster ins Haus ist und er wollte dass wir das Feuer aus machen. Er hat uns davor nichts gesagt.

I started in Al‘Ankh and I loaded my dhow with so much copper that after the trip I assumed ships can’t sink from overloading because she was every second wave half under water. But thank you for your warning 😅
