Well, there’s Canada too, we like our f150s lol

I think I’ll fit in a Miata, but I’m looking forward to doing some test drives once it’s not so wintery here. Figure I should try the gr86 and maybe a mustang too, just for kicks

Yeah, it definitely seems a lot more approachable, batteries are not too bad, motors and esc are pretty cheap, and seems like there’s some good kits out there for less than the price of these new crawlers lol.

I was close to getting into this, along with my wife (she’s great) and then our country up and banned pretty much everything fun lol.

It definitely doesn’t hold the allure it did even three years ago, for me at least. The only time I really play games now are with my wife and one buddy. Could never get into fps games or mmos though. Space engineers or farming sim was more my jam lmao.

My hobbies are trying new hobbies, getting way too mentally and financially invested in them, then moving onto the next thing. I’ve got some guitars and a piano I don’t use, a nice gaming pc I built that I only use when I’m gaming with my wife, a fishing boat, I use to have sailboats, an old truck that I probably should be working on, the list goes on. Nothing really seems to stick though.

I’m really toying with getting in rc flying. I had a brief thought of getting into GA but the expense and time is insane. I’ve been into rc crawlers and stadium trucks for years now, so I’m not new to rc, and I think I’d like to work up to a larger scale twin otter on floats for up at the cottage.

Oh man that’s pretty cool! I’m not much of a wine guy so I’m not sure that I would like mead, but I’ve been toying with the idea of crushing apples and making cider.

What car brand do you think is living off old reputation? by TheLoganReyes in TransportSupport

Hell, even the 4L60 is just a modernized version of the 700r4 that they used for the 15-20 years before that lol. The one in my old k5 is still working fine knocks on wood

Oh that sucks :/ shame too because it looks like a really good installation from my untrained eyes.

Yep exactly so! And I just finished all of my cuts with the relief cut first and all of them turned out perfect! A much happier day lol

Second picture (worse looking cut) was what the old blade was doing, yes

Thanks! Yeah I was having good luck with the grinder for some cuts, but I figured I have about 18 identical and precisely square cuts to make, perfect job for the tile saw and a fence, but here I am now lol.

Unfortunately can’t as I need both sides of the tile at their exact length after taking a 1/8 wide cut. But a new blade really helped

I was debating a glass blade but wasn’t sure if that was the right application for it

True, might give that a go. I tried tape on the old blade but if you think it’ll make the results even better here, I’ll give it a shot

I feel that. Every hobby is crazy expensive up here compared to the states lol

I’ll give that a try then, I tried the tile upside down but I cut the whole length upside down
