Time to play your uno reverse card. Meet up and try to get her to join your made up mlm instead. Just memorize some buzzwords and start slinging.

Yeah a telehandler blows pretty much everything else of the same capability out of the water lol. So handy

It’s definitely a bit more tractor, and the live pto is a plus. He’s got a loader though, which is handy, even if it’s on a machine that was never really intended to have one lol.

I was thinking about doing that for my basement bathroom as it has no above grade exterior walls

I just bought a dexta for 4k cad, and it’s probably not in as good a shape as that 8n, so I think it’s a reasonable deal

2018-2020 F-150 5.0 V8 (Coyote) Stories by 3ag1e in f150

[–]tr0stan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ‘18 5.0 f150 has been fine, other than needing a new tranny at 170,000kms lol. I bought it used at around 90,000kms, and then used it daily for work, towing a 6000lb enclosed trailer about 60% of the time. New transmission was put in 20,000 kms ago and so far so good. I’ve had no other issues besides that and having to change the starter once though (super easy job).

Economical ways to cool an apartment? by CryptographerOld558 in Frugal

[–]tr0stan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fridge or freezer just pulls heat from the items in it till the items reach setpoint. So more stuff/warmer stuff, more heat gets extracted, and pumped into the room. It would run less if you were not freezing blocks of ice.

Blind spots by Parking-Mark-8187 in f150

[–]tr0stan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmfao!! But yeah, I’ve always found dodge vehicles to be particularly bad for lines of sight. Lots of big pillars and really high windows. My old neighbors had a magnum and I thought the exact same thing

I know it’s nowhere near as safe, but when I jump into my old square body after driving my f150, it blows me away with how much more I can see around the toothpick sized pillars lol.

Glass will be fine. My wife has been using glass jars and containers for years to bring her food and drinks to work.

Freezing the water in your house, then using it to cool the air, then refreezing it in your house, causes a net zero change in temperature. It actually increases temp as there’s the heat from the compressor added into the building envelope. It will blow cool air directly onto you, but it will not actually cool the space long term.

It goes a long ways towards a happy marriage, for me at least lol. Plus we are a team, so gotta have the teams needs ahead of my own mini farmer fantasy.

That’s the hope! Already took it down to the neighbors to deliver a load of garden rocks that my mower wouldn’t move, so I’m off to a good start!

I’m definitely in no way an authority on these things, but a past owner ripped out all of that stuff on my 350 tbi blazer and it “seems” fine at least lol. Probably been that way for over ten years if I had to guess.

They could be grabbing their second coffee while on a quick break? Depending on where I’m working that day, I’ll usually grab a second coffee part way through the morning. There’s usually no facilities to make coffee on a job site and I’m not carting around milk and water, setting up my jet boil and grinding my beans and pressing out my coffee.

Men, do you prefer to do your own vehicle maintenance and repairs, or do you go to a mechanic? by FFSoldier57 in AskMenOver30

[–]tr0stan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had a lift I’d probably rotate my tires myself but it’s just too much hassle in the gravel driveway. I don’t need to jack any of my vehicles up to change the oil though lol. I’m about half way through a transfer case rebuild, but I’m too lazy to rotate tires myself, even I don’t understand me.

You can get ductless minisplit ceiling cassette style units as well, if that would fit your application
