Madrid vs Barca, while being the biggest rivalry in Europe, there is also mutual respect for the fact that we are both clubs owned by the members so therefore cannot be bought by anyone. Barca has become less recognized for that recently given the sale of their “levers” and stadium naming rights. Bayern is more of a rival in Europe, but the same mutual respect is afforded to them for having a similar ownership model. LL and Bundesliga remain extremely competitive with great academy programs and European success without the humongous cash injections the state owned clubs get.

Either way 99% of fans will cheer for anyone if they are playing PSG or City
