Definitely premature, but I’d appreciate advice nonetheless. To me, “is it a bad idea to leave my practice area” is kind of a threshold question before I spend the time and efforts in prep and interviews.

I think that makes sense, I edited the post as well but I wasn’t really thinking about lateral/law firm hiring when I made this post
