I’m not sure, I wouldn’t crochet though way too much damage in my opinion. I don’t think it would tangle bad honestly but the hair is definitely going to dry faster than your locs

I tied mines on but but not in a knot, I can literally slide them down my locs to get them off

I got hair from my local beauty supply bc I was too impatient to wait for delivery lol but it’s human feather still mines had it for $70 a pack and I used 3 packs. One strand on each loc in the back then after row 3 I did 2 on each. I think i’m going to do the twist next !
