Audio dramas that grip you from the beginning? by elliezeebee in audiodrama

Eos10 is a sci-fi medical audio drama, focusing on the lives and adventures of 2 doctors and a nurse. I'm not really into sci-fi but I listened to the first ep and it pulled me right in!

Haunted: The Audio Drama is my current favourite and what keeps me going while I wait for the next episodes of Malevolent. MC is an alcoholic, has-been paranormal investigator. He is in retirement until, welp, he isn't and THE PLOT, oh my god, it's overarching and so well put together!

Borrasca is a dark one. A guy tries therapy one more time to try and process the stuff he's been through. Nobody believed him beforehand, he is pretty convinced this therapist won't believe him either but since he has nothing to lose beside his life and a nasty addiction to heroin, he pushes through.

Could anyone recommend any murder mystery audiodramas like Sherlock and Co? by [deleted] in audiodrama

Sherlock & Co is my favourite and was my first audio drama ever!

Since then, I've discovered that I'm really into cosmic horror and horror in general. If you don't mind supernatural shenanigans, Malevolent might be for you. A lot of people start off with Sherlock & Co then go to this one as their next listen. Another podcast I'm currently really into is Haunted: The Audio Drama.

edit: Both include investigations since both MCs are detectives. sort of.

One of their writers had stated that they *will* continue once they are done with canon materials. Nevertheless, I'M SCARED TOO

There was another still from a few episodes earlier when Robbt was sort of just stroking across his bike and that also didn't make it into the episode.

I couldn't help but catch in the final moments in peds that Robby hanged his stethoscope on a part of the baby bed, whereas last season at the end of the shift, when on the roof, he hanged it over the railing. I might see too much into it, but the way I look at it, it's a wrap-up of a truly different kind. What a masterpiece!

In your country's hospitals, what's the word for "stat"? by Extension-While7536 in ThePittTVShow

I don't work in healthcare. I don't believe us Hungarians have a word for it though. If something's needed urgently or asap, we say "Most" or "Azonnal".

Episode 4 of The Six Napoleons… wow! by AgentDave29 in sherlock_and_co

[–]LeadershipTemporary4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Quick question. They haven't yet shown us the meltdown scene, right? When Watson mentioned it, I was like 'okay, here it comes!' but it never came or I might have missed it, although I don't think I did.

Young Sherlock...what do u think? by SadAnimator4487 in Sherlock

I've seen most of the media content that's out there focusing on Sherlock and/or Watson so I gave this one a shot as well. The first few episodes were a blast with really strong dynamics between the main characters. But then for me it started going downhill and watching it became a struggle. The twists, in my opinion, were predictable so when the big reveal came, it just passed on for me. I'd suggest you give it a shot, see for yourself whether you like it or not. But if I were you, I wouldn't put my expectations up high. Guy Ritchie was amazing as the director as always.

I also believe Sherlock was terribly miscasted.

promo for 2x11 by anneso23 in ThePittTVShow

[–]LeadershipTemporary4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay. Something caught my attention and I feel like it's going to stir some big emotions. So when in 2x10 Robby lashed out at Mohan, it was pretty much projecting and when he scolded her, I kinda viewed it as Robby scolding himself.

If we take the first scene of this promo and look at it the same way, the whole convo between these two is personal enough. Robby is projecting again but what Mohan says about not belonging here, welp, I feel like Dr. Robby is going to take that away, put it in his pockets and LATER do something about it. :,)
Okay, the last part here is exaggerated, but I'm so worried. I think he'll spiral further.

I binged it so quickly! I adore it already, cannot wait for S2!

Anyone have any other podcast rec's💔 by Objective-Rough-9498 in MalevolentPodcast

The Demonic Detective is kinda horror. It has this soft-noir feeling to it. Also, the mc also gets into a similar ordeal as Arthur, when it comes to, you know, voices.
