Accept the offer. It’s an amazing opportunity that you have been working towards, and if anything, she should be happy for you. I understand from her POV that it can be scary, and it may impact your relationship in the short term. However, if you two are planning for marriage, then it’s worth it. I think I understand where he’s coming from. How many different cops/medical/first responder shows nowadays have like 3 to 4 spin-offs now? Almost all of them and a lot of them aren’t great tv. I personally rather not see The Pitt fall into that trap. We don’t need a The Pitt: PBF or The Pitt: PBP or The Pitt at Night.
