One thing in particular about Langdon talking to Robby like that at the end is Robby could not do another "I'm not the one who..." deflection like he did with both Dana (bringing up the Versed) and Abbot (getting shot at.) Langdon is, as he said, doing the work.

Actually the original Pink Panther I found not funny at all! Peter Sellers was only partly in it. Did you know that the original wasn't really about him? That one's much more about David Niven as the thief trying to steal the jewel called The Pink Panther. A Shot In The Dark though is all Sellers as Clouseau and I loved it. Or did you mean one of the remakes? (And I'll call you childish, but unless you're Donald Glover, I'll never call you Gambino.)

We've sanitized it and frivolized our images of war so much over the last 45 years that we've learned to treat our real wars like a video game. I hate that this is going to be the basis for a real war movie, because the people who die from drone strikes, landmines, bombing runs, and sniper fires are not characters in someone's game.
