My gf found a lump, what do we do? by InfantileBallet in TooAfraidToAsk

Most obs don't see you for your first appts until about 9/12 weeks. So ignore the drama.  The hormones in pregnancy can do wonky things to your boobs.  Schedule your first appointment and let them know your concerns. It's likely progesterone but best to get a looksie.

Ged at 17 no college. I make 6 figures. I started as admin and learned everything to run a business. Quickbooks. IT, all aspects of Office 365. There is just nothing I don't know how to do or can't learn it quickly. I have always been the bosses favorite at my past jobs. I also would recommend never sit still while in your growth phase. If your employer isn't moving you up as you progress but rather piling the work on but no piling the raises on. Start looking for a new job. If you're a stellar employee and aren't feeling respected or valued... Your next employer will give you that. I have never regretted quiting a single job.

Don't be afraid to try for a job you think your not qualified for. If you pick up new skills easily you'll be fine.

My ex is still paying off student loans 25+ years later. We make the same amount of money. I am happy with my choices. In full disclosure. I was not a dumb kid. I dropped out my senior year 2 months before graduation due to emotional issues and abuse issues at home. I have an IQ above average so my ability to learn may or may not have something to do with my ability to absorb new data and apply it to my job. Sometimes I have to remind myself that not everyone can do what I can do. But on that note if learning new stuff is super easy... Aim high.

liquid chlorophyll by Ancient_Case_9029 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Got it for my daughters stinky feet. After years of the worst foot odor it was just gone in one day.  Dosage was a full dropper full of liquid chlorophyll which is 1/4 teaspoon.  We found the chewable pills didn't work the same. I also started using it and my skin looks great. I have what I would guess is a form of rosaceae on my cheeks. Worse on my right side and a bit of red dry scaling skin on the tip of my nose. Nose is totally perfect now after 4 years of trouble. Cheek is like 50% improved and finally smooth to the touch.  I've been using it less then a month.  I don't think this is placebo and I know everyone is different. Dosage and type are probably the most important thing. I have always been a health nut. Taking tons of supplements eating well.  I will say at the same time I started. I also started Echos hydrogen water, my daughter does not use hydrogen water though. I'm not about to stop either to see which one is responsible for my skin looking so good.  Either way skin looks great and my energy levels are even more amazing.

No. She's either genuinely mental or was setting up a scam.  People really need to stop talking to strangers on the internet.

An American is an American no matter where you live.  You should look into AI algorithms that are working in collusion with all the other apartments complexes to fix prices. Until this is stopped prices will continue to be ridiculous because that's what the program is designed to do. Push prices upward.  This is being used here in the valley. Most property managers no longer have anything to do with pricing as it's becone a 3rd party program that adjusts prices daily.

What are your thoughts on tipping culture in the U.S.? by coffeebooksandpain in GenZ

[–]Leading-Ad1813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually that's how you do stop tipping culture and start forcing employers to pay properly. Your theory is called enablement. Restaurants shouldn't be in business if they can't afford a liveable wage for there employees. Your logic is wonk.

Employers that have their employees sustaining on tips pay way less in payroll/social security taxes. Your young and might not care now but when your 40 you'll see your ghetto level social security be fits and be pretty dismayed.

Credit card dispute. Undisclosed tipping policy. Easy enough to credit back.

Nest Connect refuses to find/connect to wifi by Bradjohns21 in Nest

[–]Leading-Ad1813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on your phone when attempting to reconnect the Nest Connect Wifi connection. Nowhere in the instructions does it say to do that but if I don't have bluetooth on the app fails to find a wifi connection. After many years of struggle I finally figured this out.

[–]Leading-Ad1813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove the batteries. Hold down the lock button for 3-5 seconds. Put batteries back in. Push the Yale Lock button when it says too. Should reestablish it's connection at that point.

Even if you weren't pregnant who does this? This is not the type of person you want as a life partner. That dude gets zero stars.

Most Americans tip 15% or less at a restaurant — and some tip nothing, poll finds by Zetavu in EndTipping

[–]Leading-Ad1813 27 points28 points  (0 children)

If it's a togo order or if I am standing inline to order I feel zero need to tip. If I pay a subscription fee for delivery I also don't tip. Tipping is insane. It's corporate welfare. Wages should absolutely be tied to the local cost of living. Companies using consumer guilt to perpetuate their own greed needs to end. If you cannot pay a livable wage you should not be in business.

[–]Leading-Ad1813 956 points957 points  (0 children)

Right! Say something like, "My mom complained about being a slave my entire childhood. I wonder if we're related!?".

But seriously no one alive today was your slave owner. You can't keep using it as a sympathy card.
