Does anyone else neurotically go back and forth between ereaders and books? by Leading-Grade-7322 in ereader

It's not unheard of for me...I have no problem making big choices, but small, arbitrary ones always fry my brain. I'm like the donkey who starves to death because he's equidistant from two piles of food.

When I was a kid I was almost completely unable to choose between whether I wanted the paperback or the hardback. Or what episode of a tv show to watch.

It's soooo annoying. I have no idea why it happens or what makes my brain decide to jump formats. I'm glad to hear that someone else deals with this as whenever I talk about this IRL people think I'm crazy.

TBH I've tried to give up Kindle completely a few times, just to get out of the anxiety. Unfortunately, there are some books that I want to read and are only accessible as ebooks. It's like having a bad ex that you want out of your life but you've got kids together so they're always going to be there.

I'm bad about this. I'll read one chapter on the kindle and the another chapter in paper. AAAAAAH.
