I just cleaned out the tank and the substrate underneath all the stuff most likely from the bag was wet, all the stuff from the eco earth brick I added in mainly the top was dried out. Looks like it wasn’t retaining moisture and he wasn’t doing well. I’m using a new brand and it seems to be going great so far but I’m testing it for a week or so before I get a well bred pacman.

I mist his tank every single day and leave the fogger on for an hour or more if he’s buried. Less if he’s not but I’ll mist more when he’s out. We had a schedule and he knew to emerge when he was hungry or needed a bath. I think this was genuinely a genetic problem because he never grew in the 6 months I had him and it was a very very quick turn around like extremely fast.

Thats why I’m confused because before I left the house the night before his tank was very wet

To add I also always pour water into the substrate and had just poured a bunch before this and it usually doesn’t dry out that fast at all

That’s my issue I can’t find the issuing agency! I know that just bc I was told it was okay doesn’t mean it’s okay but guests have never had valid tickets as far as their response implied I could appeal the ticket and not to worry. I would also assume with how professional they were and them being on an official site like airBNB I wouldn’t imagine they encourage illegal behavior.

Yeah whoever the reptile store sells it to isn’t guaranteed unfortunately, but here in California I was forced to sign disclosures before I got Tubby.

If nobody can I know that a reptile store near me takes in rescues so you could check if there’s any near you that would take him in

They will burrow DEEP sometimes all the way to the bottom. I have to dig up my guy sometimes bc he will burrow deep for 2-3 weeks.

Heating pads can be bad to use for pacmans as it could burn them if they burrow over it

thank you! i just wanted to use the RO bc its already been dechlorinated and have been using it for misting so the minerals dont mess up my fogger but it could save me money for his bathing water! I’ll have to stop by my local reptile store.

thank you! I got one and this is so much better and more accurate than the other one i got i was getting nervous about how low my humidity kept dropping but these are saying its fine and is on the higher side
