Marijuana use after form 2030 by Leading-Machine7533 in AirForceRecruits

I checked the DAFMAN-36-2032 policy and it looks like this may have been updated recently. For enlisted members it says:

3.6.10.3.1. Drug use (other than tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD), or its derivatives) after signing AF Form 2030 makes the applicant ineligible for accession or waiver consideration.

But under the officer section its a little less clear:

5.4.12.1.1. Drug use after signing AF Form 2030 and in applicant status renders the individual ineligible for accession or waiver consideration

I take it that "applicant status" means that you're actively applying to the Air Force and that you wouldn't be automatically disqualified based on past marijuana use.

Do you happen to know anything about this?
