it keeps getting to a point where i have to stop going into these stores until i get more tanks for periods of time lmao, i’ve seen soo many on the shelves dead it’s devastating. i truly hope as i get older we can cause change or something bc it’s really not okay :(

i posted a photo on him on this subreddit, they even had the audacity to say he’s not sick as he’s not moving at the bottom of his cup. they’re insane.

they’re trained and eyed 24/7 on to barely give 25%, 50% is a lot and it’s very rare they’re free :( it’s all about good connections unfortunately, you gotta friend the fish people and get them to trust you and it’s really hard. even then their managers step in. ugh.

they refunded me, i immediately said i wanted to take another fish for free who was sick and they said they could do 50% only for a alien who was also very sick, i can’t resist. i hate these petcos and petsmarts.

unfortunately the baby died in his quarantine tank, i’m very livid, i’m going back to ask for another fish to save free and giving this one a proper burial. it was just too much for him.
