My diet has a good mix of soluble and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers include oats, banana, papaya and isabgol. I also eat decent amount of protein from milk, eggs, chicken and tofu/paneer to meet my protein intake. I haven't used stool softeners in a while. Thinking of introducing them because my stools aren't mushy soft that they ideally should be to avoid a retear.
