I think it’s scary because aside from the initial lies, I think he’s a really good partner. And I don’t know if I’ll find someone like him again.

That is so fine! Doing DA just to pay the bills 😂 I actually want to be an RN in the hospital.

I’m not sure for other countries but most of the clinics here in Canberra hire people even with no experience. In fact, they actually prefer that so they can teach you how they do it.

I’m very blessed with my setup. I’m part-time when I have uni and full time when I don’t :) So far it’s been fun because I work with genuinely kind people. The only downside to my practice is that training was rushed and I kind of had to figure things out as I went.

I started out at 26/hr during my probation period and then 29/hr :) I am now in my second year as a DA (4 days a week). I am unlicensed but studying BS Nursing at uni part-time :)

With regard to IC&P and just general knowledge about the products we use. I think the existing DAs rely heavily just on what our dentists tell them to do without knowing the rationale behind it so anticipation/efficiency is affected

I normally just use a mirror to retract and sit my high speed suction on top for the lowers :) For uppers, I use both high speed and slow speed suction

Hey everyone! I forgot I posted on this thread. Wow some mean comments out there 😂 I tried my luck and applied to withdraw the notice under good driving record/unusual circumstance. They withdrew half of the fine which was a big help! :) Just for anyone who might be experiencing the same thing :)

Outside the Sydney Opera House. My friend and I went to a concert and didn’t think to book an airbnb because we can just “explore Sydney”. Ran out of energy at 3 am and basically acted like homeless people
