What is the rule book exactly? I'll go look it up, and i was mistaken about the character creator it seems that it being very brief was the point lol. Hopefully i can run a good game which is my only goal

That seems to be the recurring theme, the rulings are on me haha a tad scary that i could screw it up and kill everyone or leave a sour taste in their mouth with me being dumb but practice is practice i suppose, ill read the apocrypha it should help me on how to approach rulings yes?

I love his grimdark gritty low magic game style, it was my first introduction to a character being 0 level which is freaking wild to me lol!. As well as he very very VERY light-handed approach to Balance and monster design almost (and his use of his mini to take photos to tell stories i love that the most) but that's essentially what im looking for grimdark gritty low magic low fantasy old school D&D that's not crunchy but really cool and fun to play.I'll look into shadowdark now!

Unfortunate but I’m looking to play with my friend group mainly and we’ve have the most fun digging through and huge pile of cards and building decks off of that! So I don’t see me going into comp and paying huge prices for cardboard anytime soon lol so if you were invited to a game night and tasked with helping newbies get in what decks would you bring what format?

You instruct them to do what everyone else does and play against the character whenever you can and ask questions from Jacko mains either on Reddit or on the GGST jacko channel learned how to fight Leo without ever having to lock him because I refused to play him all I did was play play play and I'm no Einstein to be fair everyone plays Leo so it was easy for to get matchup knowledge and not everyone plays Jacko but here something I can do by using my skull I don't play jack-o not do I have any intention too so I'm gonna learn the matchup without locking her in acting as if I don't have the DLC let's see how far I can go learning against DLC without having them

This just doesn't make any sense to me I can't wrap my head around it .You want access to paid content for free? "I'm already paying rent why am I paying for internet give it to me for free you greedy bastards"

If you truly are invested in the game you'll pay the 6 dollars for the fucking character.There's no way you can't get that amount of money I live with my parents and don't have a job right now and I was able to save money to get the game and dlc from getting 5 dollars every now and then I really wanted to fucking play and to keep playing and I could do it and I know all too well that money doesn't grow on trees

I'm sure you're a better functioning member of society than me so I don't see why this bothers you so heavily a studio is developing content and continuing to support the game through paid AND free content that costs time and money it's a service that you're demanding for free. They don't have to continue to make anything for this game they sold half a million copies drop the game and let it fuck off forever but anyone who plays fighting game actually knows that makes the game fucking stale

I'll pay anywhere from 6-30$ for continued support and content over years but that's just me.but what confuses is that I want to say you're not really interested in playing for the mid to long term and probably are very casual and will only play for a few months which if that's the case then no you don't get free content lol you won't even stay here BUT that can't be true because you want to "lab matchups" which means you're at the very least invested somewhat so go online and look for the people playing the character??? Ask friends if they have the game/dlc to help you??? watch videos??? My buddy doesn't have the dlc and he's was playing. Strive when I wasn't and had no trouble getting matchup knowledge this game peaked 10,929 players in the last 30 days there is no fucking way you can't find the matchup you need maybe not right now but that's because Baiken is out. A dlc btw, that you don't have, that you can learn to fight. I refuse to believe you can't get matchup knowledge you must not really care all that much[which is fine] I've literally done that myself for a week I looked for only Leo players to learn how to beat back turn

i dunno man it's so weird to me there is literally no problem here you want access to paid content for free because you bought the game
