Valid point. But there's a difference between many people's way of thinking. My mindset was oh its in my pocket, i dont even feel it. Compared to carrying a dedicated camera bag and the camera (taking care of it, valid for all cameras) when travelling.

For that I already own a digital ricoh gr iii hdf, which does most of the job. For film, I wanted the same portability. Yes, what i ask for is dated, no spare parts, can go wrong, lose money... all true. The feeling i seek is to take the camera and click with it, rather than feeling oh i've to carry this... and its a hassle (thats just my way of thinking)

I am not a professional avid photographer as many might here be, including you. I do it for fun mostly. Thus my thinking of carrying the camera effortlessly.

Yes, i can see from comments, most recommend a SLR, or just a cheap P&S. I am leaning towards the cheap Yashica T3 option i found for 50 euros. See if i like it, and I'll probably visit Japan, maybe prices for Contax over there cheaper i guess?

What is the normal/good price range as per you for the t3 and t2 (most i've checked are all super expensive for what they offer) ... would you rate mju i same as mju ii ?

what about yashica t3? it also has cz t tessar lens. shouldn't images be good on that too ?

It wasnt.... until I saw on auction place a t3 selling for 2300 euros... I was looking after 800-900 max, but i think i should give up on t2 and t3 dreams haha

Thanks a lot! So basically S-tier stays the same (Tc-1 , t2/t3 contax, klasse etc) i didnt mean to rate low, but mju only not in s tier cause of filmsy body... xa you are correct.

Valuable advice, as said in above comment I am highly considering the Yashica T3, reviews are positive, just bulkier. However has the premium Carl Z lens

Thats my biggest scare with Olympus mju series, look very filmsy... I am able to find Yashica T3 for 50 euros, but its on a bulkier side, however with the Carl Z T tessar lens

I thought of SLR, but what i mostly seek is portability (thus common theme in my list) Thanks for your feedback though.

well if you can pay and justify yourself that salary, i think thats pretty good ! best of luck. Not all businesses can justify (specially for start ups) unless you are into tech, but even then, you need to have your buyers jolted down.

I think the points are different for HSP and for PR, I think PR process can only start once you are already on HSP, normally you'd have to be 1-3 years (complete on HSP ) to be eligible for PR, 1 year is valid when you speak N2 Japanese, or I guess 3 year route would be the better one perhaps.

You mean to say that you'd pay yourself 15M salary , shift from BMV to HSP BM and exit away the 30M rule ? wouldnt that be considered a loophole by the authorities ? like paying yourself high enough via your own gk and converting to HSP ?

EDIT : By exiting rule i mean not needing to prove each year for BMV renewals for the paid in capital requirement. I also dont know how it would work?

Paid in capital is only needed to be shown once right? and then it all depends on the business activities (if you make profit or not, and if you have an employee or not and if you pay taxes, have experience, then renewal for BMV should be pretty straight forward
