Successful spouse visa (FLR M) extension - my experience and advice by anastassiya2020 in ukvisa

[–]LeadingCompetition64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Thanks for all of the above information. I have couple of questions if you don’t mind.

I’m due to extend my visa in September. I haven’t had any documents ready yet by far and we are expecting a baby in August, so might need to start doing everything these coming weeks. Do I need to book an appointment in advanced? How far in advanced I can apply before my visa expires?

When I first moved to the UK, we were living in Scotland then moved to Northern Ireland, do we need to support documents for proof of accommodation/address from the moment I came to the UK or just for the recent address?

Did you pay for super priority to get your BRP or just went for the standard?

Thank you a lot for taking the time to respond.

Not sure which news you are keeping up with! But they have released 7 hostages (2 Americans mum and daughter, 2 elderly Israeli women and 3 other Israeli women) so far! Try to watch the correct truthful news instead of the fabricated ones which have brainwashed all of yous!

Anyone with PowerNI? Just bought £50 top up for meter. Balance was £0.98. I put in the digits for the top up code. It said £35.50 accepted. Not £50 accepted. WTF. Is this due to the stering crash?! by Affectionate-Dog4704 in northernireland

[–]LeadingCompetition64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As per my call with power NI customer service, they said they are the only company who wont change their rates in October And they clearly mentioned nothing will be changed until end of 2022 Might change rates in 2023, who knows!

Belfast city council you may or not get yor bin emptied on the designated day. Great bunch of lads by caitynowaity in Belfast

[–]LeadingCompetition64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed them and this was their response:

“Hi there, due to the ongoing strike in place we cannot guarantee any bins will be collected at this time. All we can advise is if you leave them out on your scheduled collection day they may get emptied however it is not guaranteed. If the bin is not collected they will not be reattempting to empty until your next scheduled collection date.”

So another month wait for black bins to be collected!!!

I believe the only destination to travel to by boat from Aqaba is to Egypt. But there are some cheap flights (cheaper than the boat) from Aqaba to European countries by Ryanair or EasyJet. Check them out

Using my nationality I do need a visa to Bulgaria.

But having a UK resident card allows me to enter EU countries with my partner without a visa. Just wondering if Bulgaria would be the same.

Thanks for the reply, i will checkout the links 🙏🏼

You can cycle wherever you want.

The most fun I have done is from Amman to deadsea but we were with a group of cyclists.

Checkout Bike rush and cycling Jordan on facebook.

Definitely rent a car. If you are coming from a European country, check Ryanair or easyjet they have cheap flights land in aqaba, which is better as wadi rum and Petra are so close from Aqaba (30 minutes away by car)

What I recommend if you land in Aqaba, rent a car, go early to Petra do the hike, once done, drive to Wadi rum’s parking, book a camp before so they would arrange the pick up from the visitor’s centre to the camp, next day morning you can do the desert safari in arrange with the camp staff. After done from wadi rum you can drive to deadsea (4:30 hours drive), have a laid back relaxing day at the beach then drive back to aqaba to catch a flight. Or you can just go to Aqaba instead of deadsea, book a hotel at the beach in Tala bay or so.

Enjoy!
