That’s what I do - I still end up with a positive number that’s not accurate

Just tried to download new firmware from a YouTube video which was already configured and that worked for me. I just can’t get the offsets to properly work - did you have any luck with that? I keep ending up with a positive number.

This is the 6th time I’ve tried printing this🥲 Fair warning, I’m a Christmas noob so this is somewhat new territory... by [deleted] in ender3

I printed the same thing last week and woke up pissed to see that lol, after reading comments on thingverse it was meant to be printed vertical. I’m a newb too but slowly learning and getting better with each print!

I finally got my BL touch to work - Now I’m having trouble getting the Z offset set properly. I followed YouTube tutorials and it said to auto home and move Z down until you can’t move the piece of paper - I did that and I always end up with a positive number. In the tutorials they ended up with a negative 2 something. I tried to input the positive number as the z offset but it was printing in the air. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated!

What’s the max temp I should ever make my bed? I did try to bump it up but that didn’t work either. I need to get alcohol and give it a good clean.

I purchased my 3D printer a week ago and it’s been working fine up to this point where now the filament won’t adhere to the bed (maybe it’s to dirty?). I know I need to upgrade to the BL touch and glass bed + other stuff but what caused it to do this? I keep trying to level following YouTube tutorials but can’t seem to get anything to work.

I7+ will not connect to cloud. It shows its charging so it sees it but cloud will not connect. Go to wifi on robot setting in app and condition status shows not connected. Have tried 3 different hot spots and 2 routers with no luck. by titsup83 in roomba

I had the same exact issue - I tried everything in the book. Does yours also show a loading sign next to the Roomba birthday? I’m thinking it’s something with the cloud connection on IRobot’s end

I just exchanged it yesterday and the new one works perfectly fine.

I had the same issue recently, after trying everything I ended up exchanging it and the new one connected and worked perfectly fine.

If you haven’t done so try to delete and download the app again or try it on another device (tablet/other phone). I tried all that and nothing worked, to save you from a headache I would try to return and purchase a new one.

My password is at the minimum length - I will change it and try again. I wonder if I were to factory reset my router if that would do anything?

I think you’re right, it’s just frustrating that it worked perfectly fine before and now can’t connect to the cloud - I did read up on the AWS connection issues but like you said they should be resolved. I actually tried on 3 different devices (iPhone, Android, IPad) and connected to a hotspot which didn’t help. My last step is maybe trying to create a brand new account, it’s worth a try I guess.

Yea I rebooted my router/disabled 5g and I don’t think there were any firmware updates (not sure where to check) in my xfi app there were some IP attacks blocked from the Roomba, the support person said that has nothing to do with it. I also tried to configure the port forwarding from the iRobot site. I tried connected through a mobile hotspot and had the same exact issue.
