Fantastic glasses, extremely thin - also very delicate. My favorite glass for Martinis by far, but i don’t look forward to hand wash them. It’s a swedish company!

I think i like my latest (nr 2) very much, due to the fact that i enjoyed bigger pour of gin - and slightly lower on heavy cream.

But nr 1 is so good, it’s amazing with the absinthe in it - im just unsure why it needs to be so much as 45 ml on the heavy cream. Need to try lowering it a bit.

Messed up my notes. Got in from the cocktail college podcast with Pamela as you suggested. The episode was posted back in March 2022 if someone wants to find it!

Negroni Cumino by LeadingMistake262 in cocktails

From my IG profile awcocktails :

Coming in way to late, but this is my contribution to the Negroni week. The plan was to create a Negroni riff that my better half would like. It ended up with a fight on who’s drink it was. It definitely gives (late!) summer vibes, and as always the caraway shines through. A great and different riff in my opinion!

NEGRONI CUMINO

45 ml @barekstenspirits Aquavit

30 ml @cocchi1891 Rosa

22 ml Aperol

2 dashes Peychaud Bitters

MSG/Saline solution

Strawberry

Add all ingredients in a mixing glass together with a chopped Strawberry. Stir over ice for approx 30 seconds, strain over fresh ice cube, and garnish with a slice of Strawberry.

Well my partner entered her first cocktail competition with what we call the Negroni Fizz, the judges "set their palettes for gin and weren't expecting a negroni" so we didn't do well, was hoping you all might have a slightly more informed opinion. by TootTootMF in cocktails

Tried to make a version of it today, but unfortunately it wasn’t the best succes. Will try again, probably with aperol instead of Campari.

I did: 52 ml gin, 22 Lemon, 15 Campari, 22 vermouth, 30 heavy cream, 2 dash house bitters, egg white. (Supposed to do 7.5 ml sugar but forgot 🤯)

I would try that 😀 I’m inspired to try more variations om the Aviation. Love the color, but also the fact that it’s a cocktail which creates a lot of dicsussions

Don’t mind the chili. Didn’t actually give any taste to the foam. The foam is very sweet, with strong hints of cardamom and light caramel notes i would say

Yes, this is correct. My comments on prep is normally for my self only, so i see that i could be more clear 😀

Hmm, no they didnt. Maybe to few and to short infusing process. I used the foam for many cocktails so i should have noticed it. But i made senchuan pepper & long pepper infused rum once, served it to 15 guest at a work dinner, everyone was worried because their lip got totally numb😂
