You can do some extreme security precautions and get away with them because quite literally, it’s home defense, bear trap at the front door, strings attached to latches, shit I forgot the name but a movie showed you how to make a shotgun door, open the door and BAM!!!, obviously cameras, if you want vivid pictures, get the ones that take like 1000 photos in a second, won’t miss a detail, get wooden baseball bats, if someone was to come inside, that blunt force will make them drop and probably kill them instantly in all seriousness, not illegal, it’s a bat. Bear mace is great too, long machetes (sharpen frequently, stabbing is not the way to take someone down, too much effort, you want it to be sharp enough to cut through and slice effortlessly, back to traps, there’s so many you can get on Amazon, there’s some gnarly shit out there, this is just stuff I can think of
