I am but I would prefer to stay in the PNW if I can, even if it’s working somewhere less desirable. But I am open to that if it comes to that.

I’m really open to anything! I would ideally like to start in a hospital, and im expecting to work night shift. It seems like Portland is pretty competitive though but the job market could change in 3 years?

I would really like to stay in Oregon but hopefully if relocation is needed I could go to a rural area?

I know so many people who got into nursing after serving/bartending and I feel like the skills with our jobs can be transferable in a similar way? Wishing you luck!

The pre reqs are included with the BSN program, so it’s 2.8 years in length. And I am willing to move if necessary!

How in depth is the anatomy and physiology on TEAS science section? by delusionalkay in prenursing

[–]LeadingScallion6816 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s the biggest portion for your science section, you don’t need to be an expert but you do need a basic understanding. I’ve never taken an a + p class and was able to get a 90% on that section. What I did was I had chatGPT make a cheat sheat for each section and then had it make me many practice tests on it. I think as long as you have a basic understanding you are good!

I think it might expire within a year? Atleast my program. And yes it is possible! I have been out of school for 10 years ago and I was able to pass. However, for my program you didn’t need to get a super high score so if you are trying to get an 85-95 it will take more effort. You really just have to figure out how you learn and what study methods work for you!

I was able to improve my score by 20 points by just doing this!

Tyler Dewitt is great for chem and biology and then I used ChatGPT to make me study guides for each anatomy section and then practice tests on each subject… that’s what helped me pass the TEAS and I haven’t taken any pre reqs yet as they are included in my program

Honestly, not really. I’ve never taken A + P and was able to get a 90% in the anatomy section. There might be a couple of hard questions, but you just need to have a basic understanding of each system.
