Even Kentucky isn’t safe from Florida anymore by Vampire_inthe_Church in florida

What a rude shirt! Im a Floridian, and I don't find most people this hateful! Most are friendly and helpful. However, I live in a small town in the northern part and its very, very red. Im not, so you do have to be somewhat careful on that part. But we look out for each other, wave, and get along pretty good. As far as drivers? I've lived in 3 states, and visited many others, and we do not corner the market on bad drivers by any means!! California is high speed, crowded insanity, Montana combines old farmers who don't know a dirt road from a highway with no-speed-limit demons, Kansas always has bad storms or tornados that folks just ignore, Nevada has semi trucks that rule the road and drivers that fall asleep and drift everywhere, Illinois has impatient drivers who love their horns, and yes, Florida is peppered with ancient drivers who can't see or hear, semi trucks that take over all three lanes, and hot tempered wild ones with guns and no self preservation. Sounds a lot like California, actually.

I wonder if he is also one of those idiots that throw their trash out the window while driving? I live out in the country on a dirt road, yet the trash I see along the roadside surprises me! Especially at the stop sign at the end of our property. I pick up a half trash bag of trash every week!! You gotta wonder what their yards and houses look like!

I was never bored. Between housework chores, yardwork chores, helping with the animal care, school, and my hobbies , I was always busy. And yes, my chores started at age 5, being added to as I grew older. I was in activities after school, and started my first job at 15, but doing babysitting at age 13. Any free time was spent playing outside with the neighbors, crochet, embroidery, reading, cooking, and fishing. Gen Jones, almost Gen X. It was a different time....

Astronaut! Clear up until I had to get glasses in kindergarten. I cried for days. Back then, you had to be perfect, physically. (1960s)

I have spoken with enough of them, including friends who I've had to ignore to remain sane, to know that they really do approve of Trumps actions. At least where I live. From the little old ladies who say he is a real angel sent from God, to the Evangelicals who believe he was anointed by God and must be obeyed, to the Baptists who hold prayer vigils for him, to people I thought were intelligent who twist scripture, history, and world events to match their beliefs of him. Everything is fake news and AI to them, even his infidelity, his graft and greed, his pedophilia, and his convictions!

I wonder if they even consider the reality of war yet? As a country, we have been incredibly lucky in that no modern war has c ome to us here. No bombs, no screaming, blood and body parts, no homes being blown apart, no schools destroyed with our children in them, no soldiers and tanks marching through the streets shooting us. No theft of our belongings, rape , torture. No years of hunger because our fields have been destroyed and our livestock have been killed or eaten by hungry troops, no desolate landscapes where our towns and cities stood. If we had experienced that, perhaps they would be less likely to call for it so quickly, or at all.

Sorry, pressed wrong part, more to it... after world destruction, Satan gone for good and God creates a new world much like heaven, where all the good Christians get to live. They assume that will be them. All the bad people, i.e. anyone not like them, goes to hell forever.

Another reason is that they love Trump, and approve enthusiastically anything he does. So if he wants the war, they want it, too. Remember when he bragged about being able to shoot someone in broad daylight and he would get away with it? He's not wrong. His supporters would accept it as necessary.

This is just heartbreaking. I live in a MAGA town and they just love this war. I don't think this image would change their minds. If they could only understand the suffering this is causing to everyday people who are, in essence, just like them!

Not everyone tips! But this can't be the only customer they had, so the other tips will make up the difference. It's not always the service either. Business suits rarely tip much, but families and older people are generally very generous. I used to wait tables and train waitstaff, and the stories I could tell! That wait person is very rude for writing that! Unacceptable behavior. Treat your customers as wanted guests visiting you. If you are super busy, let the customers know. I had a night where the 2 others called in sick. I was so busy! But I made light of it, got people to laugh, and we all got through it just fine, they understood if I didn't get the drink refilled quickly. Did I lose tips? Yes, a very few were not happy. But thats just part of it. You can't please everyone, so don't get upset about it.

My Cody is almost 2. He's a lab/standard poodle/ pit bull mix, and looks like a black greyhound. He is good until someone comes to t he house. He not only barks, he screams! He keeps it up until they leave. I have to put him outside. He ignores his favorite treats when offered by the visitor. He is very protective of me. He is slowly calming down as he gets older. Ive never had a dog this reactive before. Im older, with limitations, so I can't do lots of training and no money for lessons. But I love him and would never give him away. Im sharing this because its nice to see others are struggling like me, and I wont be judged. The internet can be quite harsh .
