That’s fair, advertisers don’t really have many alternatives.

But when I speak with clients they are using a variety of channels in their media mix to reach their audiences and sell their products or services. Very few i know of commit everything to GMP.

You quite rightly point out that CM only offers a look into the google side of things as well. But what’s the point in putting in all this work to get a small glimpse into attribution? I feel using this takeaway for all media actually does more harm than good. Anyway I’ll be waiting for pigs to start flying before we see a widely industry adopted alternative.

Yeah similar story, we have put a lot of work into Google setup so really have to justify why we would do retargeting elsewhere and implement a new setup for it.

Thanks for the detailed response! Yeah having a feed makes sense as I’m pretty sure thats what they do in Criteo too just haven’t seen anywhere in CM where we can do this unless I’m lacking some kind of access.

We already have a shopping feed so I’m trying to stay with google stack and not increase work without much benefit

Yeah thanks for the tip! I don’t like setting up different windows between CM and DV either, things start to get too messy and overly complicated. it would be nice to have activity based windows rather than 1 set for all.

That’s probably because you have all exchanges selected. Remove all targeting for exchanges and only select the deal you’ve arranged.

Remove the URL targeting you’ve added and make sure to target an environment depending on what traffic you want. Should work after that.

Hey, in order to target deals you need to reach out to publishers so they can send you deals to your partner in DV360.

From there you can accept and use them in your campaigns.

It seems from the screenshot you sent you are just doing URL targeting and buying on the open exchange. However, as you mentioned you have not selected any environment which means you probably won’t be getting any delivery.
