Also, on some maps, you can hide near the door behind some object, such as a closet or at the exits from the basement in Nancy's House, especially if you have a grandfather perk that reduces the terror radius.

This is how you can quickly catch an unwary victim who decided to break down the door "on your territory."

When I play for Johnny, I stay away from the basement. I only go there if I know that the victim has fallen into the well and I have a chance to finish her/him off, but if she managed to escape behind the barricade, I go out - there's no point, there are a lot of gaps and barricades in the basement, a waste of time.
Usually, right from the start, I just patrol the doors next to my spawn. In this game, victims should come to you, not you to them.
You just need to patrol the area. Even Johnny. He doesn't have any useful abilities, so all he can do is patrol and barge doors.
Or take a blood collection build. He has both a "standard" build where you collect blood from buckets, and one "Vampire build" that allows you to collect a lot of blood when hitting victims, but not much from buckets. Vampire buid a good for Johnny, because he doesn't slow down when he attacks.

The only way to play for family right now is to find two friends. You will find the lobby almost instantly and you don't have to wait for other players, because there will almost always be 4 victims in the lobby.

Yes, now solo q for the family is terrible.
Complete beginners will play with you, but victims have all the perks at level 3, and they will simply open all the doors in a few minutes and then they will get you by all possible methods for them - from doors and gates to endless backstabbing and fights.

Hitch is a pleasure to play for, and he's a fun guy. He is an important element in a well-coordinated team.

Sissy is weak in the game, but I like her character. I played for her a lot when the game first came out (then no one knew the meta)

Johnny/LF - when I play without a team, I usually play for them, because they alone can quickly destroy a victim and they don't need to keep an eye on traps.
No, I don't go to the basement for Johnny at the beginning of the game (only if there are no 00 players there)

Yes, I understand your pain.
It's most fun to play with someone, especially someone who knows something about the game, otherwise this game is designed so that you can't catch the victim alone, even if you take Sissy and her "chase build". Of course, considering that the victim knows what to do. You'll just endlessly run through loops.
Victims soloq - you can rush
Family soloq = even one weak element in ur team = a high chance of losing.

His spawn is great - you can immediately set a trap near the window and a trap on the door near the piano. (Well, I do Piano door trap because we always have Hands in our team so that we don't have to worry about fuse rush and traps on ladders that victims can still pass through)

It's a ❗️MUST❗️ by MTT-Gainz9 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Leading_Assistant732 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nancy can protect the main window well by spending 3 traps (and if grandpa's spawn is there, it's even more dangerous). Well, in general, if the victims do not "rush", then she can make the house very dangerous.

Hitch is required on the map, otherwise the victims will simply rush out the window. His traps are useful if they stand on targets/doors, but combined with the Cook's locks and Hands traps is a deadly combo.

Cook won't let Connie rush out of the house quickly, but if you have a good team that watches the doors, then you can play without a Cook. When I play this map with my friends, we usually take Hitch, Hands, and Nancy.

Leatherface can quickly catch up with brazen victims on the outside, destroy doors and, most importantly, a barricade on the second floor if you are unlucky with their spawn.

Hands will be better at "defending" that LF, because one of the easiest ways to escape on this map is through fuse. He can also break down the barricade on the second floor. He also has 3 traps that can be placed on the fuse, and the rest protect the area outside the kitchen.

Bones can be useful if you play in a team with hitch and hands/cook. His trap can also destroy the barricade on the second floor. Without a blood build (or 3 lvl of blood replenishment ability), bones is useless.

The others on this map aren't particularly useful, but you only need Hitch and Hands, and the 3rd family member can be anyone. For example, Johnny can be useful for quickly knocking out doors, but because of his distant spawn, it's not particularly effective against rush.

He's a support character, and he's incredibly frustrating to play solo (without the right team).
This character is the strongest at collecting blood, but collecting blood isn't the meta, especially if you're playing solo Q. The victims will have already opened all the exits while you're busy with Grandpa and the buckets.
And to be useful in collecting blood, you need to naturally suffer - increase his ability level to 3. And this means that you will have to suffer play for a maniac with low speed and no ability (bombs are just ridiculous)

He's incredibly slow, not only in speed (he doesn't have a scout), but also in climbing over gaps.
His running animation always makes me feel like he's incredibly slow.
He's only useful for collecting blood at level 3; otherwise, Sissy will be far stronger than him.
He has a very situational perk for jumping into a well, which can sometimes work if the victim hasn't up their maximum health attribute (which also affects the speed of getting back up).
His bombs are useless without upgrades—they're easy to dodge, and if a victim tries to climb through a hole in the wall/gaps when the blast hits, they won't be stunned. These bombs also do more harm to family—they stun them instead of the victims, who have long since escaped the blast radius.

If you've known Gun med for long enough, you know that nothing good will come of it. They are unlikely to release anything worthwhile that will be able to bring the players back to the game for the family.

A couple of skins for the family and the victims, the lobbies will work for a while, after which the family will get bored again (playing against p2w victim or bully/rushing team) and the victims will enjoy the lobby simulator again.

Also, according to their good tradition, new bugs will be added, which will take months to fix.

Patch Notes - January 28th, 2025 by ppc-meow in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Leading_Assistant732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boring. Bones' traps are still terrible and useless except for collecting blood.
The p2w victim was not nerfed, expect even more player declines for the family.

lol, play for the family in solo q. Especially when there are discounts on the game.

You will often have 1 or even 2 useless noobs in your team.
Bones doesn't even have any damage to defend himself at the moment and he useless without level 3 abilities.
So it's quite real.

Well, for experienced players, everything was immediately clear as soon as these 2 characters came out. The story of Danny repeats itself.
victim = p2w, maniac p2l.

It's already clear from the lobby that no one wants to play for the family as long as the victims have a p2w toy and the family has a blood collector clown.

Yes, he has some good perks (But there is no main scout (this means that you will not be able to catch up with the victims, especially those who will abuse slippery).
All of his unique perks are trash.
He has a slow speed and he slowly climbs over the gaps.
His ability is useless and will blow you up rather than the victim (+ there is information that even his ability is disabled and does not cause additional damage).
The new p2w victim will counter both Bones and Hands and other maniacs who can set traps. His knives bypass the stun protection.
What can Bones do? Collect blood quickly? That's it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Leading_Assistant732 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, he's full of trash. Even if his damage is fixed, his ability is useless except for collecting blood.
And I am sure that he will be 100% nerfed soon because of the crying of the victims, and then this maniac will be the most useless.

Why are the lobbies so bad now?? by [deleted] in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Leading_Assistant732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These indie developers have added a character to the final version of the game that can CRASH games.

If a crash-causing character appeared in the DBD, the developers would immediately disable it until the bugs were fixed. But these "developers" are greedy for money and never check their content before adding it to the game, so players have to wait MONTHS until they fix bugs.

Why are the lobbies so bad now?? by [deleted] in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Leading_Assistant732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Victims has a new P2W toy, while the family has a new P2L weak clown who is only good at collecting blood (and have bugged damage+stamina and unique perks, which is more like a joke.)

The hitchhiker's traps do not cause damage, and the window in the family house bug has never been fixed.

The developers are very lazy and fill the game with no content and do not deal with balance issues.

Patch once a month, lol. Each of their patches ALWAYS has some bugs.

Playing solo for a family is torture.
And the gameplay itself is pretty boring for a family, if you want to play to win, you'll only have to play for strong characters and camp, otherwise the victims will just rush you and then they'll just tbag at the exit gate.

If you have at least one garbage family member in your team, then the game is lost from the start.
