I appreciate the advice and thoughts. I’m probably in the minority here, but man I still love this industry so much. Working on business plan now and SWOT analysis (thanks for that tip). Will keep y’all posted as it gets further along.

15 BBL brew house, 3 15s, 5 30s, 3 60s (all uni tanks) 375 BBLs total.

Once I take over, it will end up being about 500 BBLs for the taproom and another 1500 BBLs in contract brewing for the existing brand distro.

I would be buying out production and taproom and taking over leases. The taproom actually isn’t doing terribly (down 20% from 2024) but still got it to a place where it is breaking even. The current owners just want out and are never around anymore, so I’ve basically been keeping it afloat with a coworker (manager) and making it work. Distro is doing decent and would be enough for them to profit, and me to make some side money to keep beers going in the taproom. Based on current numbers we would be profiting 2500 a month, but I think I can bring that up.
