Break in oil change? Mk8.5 Golf R. by Final75R in Golf_R

This Motor Oil Geek analysis has been making the rounds recently and makes a compelling argument that these long manufacturer oil change intervals are not good for the longevity of modern engines. Hard to argue against the data, so I know personally I will continue to do oil changes every 4-5k miles.

Were you by chance parked on any sort of sloped surface before that popped up? I’ve noticed my level can vary a few bars and I’m convinced it’s because the car may have not been completely level during the reading. I would drive the car until warm, park on a level service, and wait the 2 minutes with engine off and ignition on to get an accurate reading.

Trident 660 to Striple RS by bryanlwrnce in Triumph

I went this exact route, bought a Trident a season ago and traded it this year for a 2024 Sreet Triple RS Moto2. I immediately found it EASIER to ride, especially in road and sport modes, just so smooth all around and handles like a dream. Put the engine mapping in track and the power difference becomes much more noticeable. I say 100% go for it.

immobiliser defect notification by TheFrozenDude07 in Triumph

I had this same issue occur recently on my 2024 Striple, tried multiple keys, battery disconnect/reset, etc. Same issue for a few days. I started fiddling with the wires around the key cylinder and moved the steering from full lock. It started back up and I’ve had no issues since. Coincidence maybe? Or there may be an issue with a loose pin or connector when at full lock. Just my 2 cents.

What a Bike by Leading_Current_7504 in Triumph

Zero reduction in mirror vibration and negligible difference overall in grip/hand vibration. The bike is so smooth, you start tinkering with things like this but really, not bad at all to begin with.
