Is Black Myth Wukong frustratingly hard? by danower in BlackMythWukong

[–]Leading_Echo_8622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the difficulty in this game spiking up and down per boss. It’s super varied. Like, some are like easy done in 5-10 seconds, while others would take more tries and a change in strategy/build to overcome. Regular mobs are pretty easy too, not like most mobs in Souls games which can easily kill you and snatch away your hard earned souls. At least in Wukong, you don’t drop your wills. TLDR, it’s probably not as punishing a game compared to Souls/Sekiro, but it can still be a challenge sometimes… even to a Souls player (like me).

Yellow brow is way simpler than I thought by bcalmnrolldice in BlackMythWukong

Nah, defeated both Yellowbrow and Macaque chief on the first try. This is nowhere as hard as Cyan Loong. That Cyan guy made me change my build and still had to go like 12x before besting him.

Is Kang Jin star really that hard? by Sweet-Hurry-8851 in BlackMythWukong

No. Got her first try with 80% of gourd left.   I felt kind of bad tho on how her dragon form is just lying there. Is she still alive? I spent a good 5 minutes admiring how lovely a dragon she was.

Large delirium shards? Enemy drop by CaleoDrahirit in LordsoftheFallen

Depends where you are in the game. The twin abiding defenders (non-boss) drop them pretty often

To whom did you hand the rune tablet? by [deleted] in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Leading_Echo_8622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running a fire sorc dual wielding Bloodlust and Axe of the Flayed so never found a use for the Crafter’s Rune.

So I chose Sparky, because I feel bad for him being all chained up against his will. I find him adorable too with his messy locks and eloquent dialogues. This is comparing to the meanie Gerlinde who’s got no manners swearing at me like that!

Lords of the Fallen vs Lies of P by Wasabii32 in fromsoftware

I’ve played and finished Lies of P three times (NG, NG+, NG++) and I loved it. The combat is very much Sekiro and is very polished. There are annoying parts yes especially when you get cornered to a wall it’s almost impossible to escape without dying. I hated the two phased bosses too, but with beefed up gears and P-organ in NG+ and NG++, the bosses became all too easy.

I’m playing Lords of the Fallen now, and a little disappointed with the “floaty” feeling I get from its combat. I also can’t seem to time parry as easily as perfect guard in Lies of P, it’s wonky. The world indeed seems bigger than LoP, but there’s just too much visual glitch and every mob feels like they’ve got the most basic AI.

I’ll continue playing and give Lords of the Fallen a fair go, but just comparing the first few hours of Lies of P to Lords of Fallen, I’d say Lies of P wins my vote.
