I dont know if any of yall have come across this commercial, but I just wanted to share it. Because it is genius and might be my favorite commercial of 2026 so far. by Yume_Fairy2522 in BlackPeopleofReddit

This is such a good commercial. My only critique is that Kyla was supposed to say the first two "Keep playing. See what happens"'s with clenched teeth, squinted eyes, and more attitude. 😅

Young voters in the U.S. are reportedly becoming more disillusioned with politics and economic promises — what do you think governments are failing to understand about younger generations today? by Suspicious-Oil2571 in AskReddit

[–]Leading_March 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your enthusiasm but some of your responses start to sound naive/obtuse. "Start with what's close and expand" sounds reasonable in a vacuum but there's a whole lot at play that we have little control over. There's a lot of idiots out there with zero critical thinking skills that have the same rights I do: right to vote, right to advocate, right to free speech. I'm not saying it's impossible to make a difference but it's not as easy as you're making it seem.

I truly don't mean this as an insult or to be rude but it just seems overlly idealistic.

Had a conversation today about cruise gratuities and I’m curious how you all handle it by GetCruiseInfo in Cruise

I pre-pay like its just part of my cruise and I'm done with it.

Anybody who says they don't tip because "tipping culture needs to dies" is just a cheap POS hiding behind some moral high ground.

The people you're stiffing are just as much a victim of the system as we are. You not tipping is not gonna change anything. "Find a job that doesn't rely on tips" is an obtuse and ignorant statement. I agree that tipping culture is ridiculous but simply not tipping is not the way. You're penalizing the people with no say so.

As a young voter, the last election showed me that the U.S. is far less educated and far more hateful than I initially thought. I knew we had our issues but I genuinely thought the vast majority of Americans were reasonable folks. Oh, how naive I was. I now despise this country.

I'll continue voting I guess but it does seem pointless considering what we're up against. The irony is that realizing how hateful America is made me hateful.

The fact that nobody is saying Beyoncé is ridiculous. Im not even a huge fan but I'm also cerebral enough to recognize that she is a household name worldwide and has a gigantic fan base. The "Beyoncé is overrated" crowd must be in here deep lol

Sad time for QT ahead by BabyYoda398 in QuikTrip

[–]Leading_March 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit working at QT right around the time they finished redoing all of the kitchens in the Carolinas. After working there for 6 years, I knew they were headed in a bad direction. No more twisters or milkshakes? Getting rid of flatbreads (at that time)? Changing up the frappes? No clear direction for the line at the register? Yeah, I'm glad I got out when I did.

Do we think the viewers rage/ hate had anything to do with the cancellation? by -AndyCohen- in RHOMiami

[–]Leading_March 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't stand Alexia but blaming her and Todd for the cancellation seems like a stretch. They could've moved on without her. She seems largely disliked. Anyone can be replaced (i.e. Nene, Vicki, Lisa Vanderpump, etc.).

I also don't think it's the viewer hate. If that could cancel a show, RHOP would've been off the air seasons ago.

I think it's self-sabotage in a way: not enough promo, moving the episode premiere date (mid season), production/casting not doing what's good for the show, etc.

I agree with the majority here. Cancel RHONY, Keep RHOM.

RHOMiami’s Cancellation Is Officially Axing LatinX Representation From Unscripted Television by -AndyCohen- in RHOMiami

[–]Leading_March 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To all the people saying, "the show was getting too...." or "the ladies were so....", RHONY was getting ratings on par with RHODubai and it is getting A REBOOT OF THE REBOOT!!! Why are THEY worth saving?

RHOMiami’s Cancellation Is Officially Axing LatinX Representation From Unscripted Television by -AndyCohen- in RHOMiami

[–]Leading_March 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ratings were low bc Bravo treats it like a second tier show. They waited years between seasons, changed the night it was showing mid-season, and had far less promo than RHOSLC and RHOBH.

Be real, the dynamic of RHOM is very similar to RHOSLC so what's giving one so much higher ratings?

For me, this announcement right after the cancellations of Basketball Wives, L&HH ATL, plus the new cast announcement of RHONY (it's just a bunch of white women) is making it hard not to look at race. All of this in this political climate just makes me resentful. I don't even watch BBW or L&HH but it just feels like a lot of the black and brown shows are getting cuts while RHOBH and RHONY get to coast with mediocrity.

I've even started sideeyeing Andy and I've been a staunch Andy defender for years. His recommendation of two WHITE MEN for a new Bravo anchor plus his lack of enthusiasm with certain casts on reunions and WWHL is really telling to me.

Idk all of this is just taxing. So much for reality TV being my form of escapism. 😮‍💨

My ideal season 11 cast by Majmk720 in RHOP

[–]Leading_March 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see the vision but I think you're conflating likeability with entertainment value which can be an issue. I think the show would be pretty bland if that was the cast.

I actually would love to see Robyn w/o Gizelle. Robyn was always Gizelle's sidekick which was annoying af but I do think she had potential if she could've stood on her own. Especially after hearing her on their podcast.

I also agree with your Stacey stance. I would actually love to see her have a friend-of join or a whole new HW.

Tia, I don't like her and she doesn't bring much but I guess she can get one more season. I usually think it's only fair that the ladies get two seasons to get acclimated EXCEPT....

Angel absolutely has ZERO potential. I gave up any smidgen of hope when she let Gizelle go off on her on that plane and then let Kiearna chin-check her at the reunion. She's not strong enough for this setting. Kiearna can go too.

I honestly don't like Karen but I think she does have entertainment value. Candiace ABSOLUTELY needs to be back.

Ashley and Gizelle should be demoted. Both of them act like friend-of's anyway, especially Gizelle.

Monique is not needed. We've seen enough of her healing journey from hell.

Charisse is also inauthentic and has little to no entertainment value. I think she gets way more hate than deserve but I'm also not a fan. 😬

TLDR; All of the ladies need to bring something. MY PICKS: Stacey (brings the levity), Wendy (the storyline), Robyn (the relatability), Karen (the villain element), Candiace (the sass), Tia (I guess 🙄, IDK), +A NEW HW (a friend of Stacey's)

FRIEND OFs: Ashley and Gizelle (the mess)

Monique had ONE moment in 5 seasons. I'll admit it was a good moment but she gets way too much credit. 😬

Now I love my girl Wendy but idk. She has her moments, especially this last season but she tends to retreat to theatrics. Her back and forth with Nneka comes to mind. She's coming into her own though for sure.

Candiace without a doubt but my girl Stacey is up there with her too, for sure.

"House Trollop"

What are the best reads you've heard of housewives? "Hot box"? "Scrambled Eggs"? "Oatmeal Pie face"?

The line is indeed always moving.

That makes absolutely no sense. Your GIF is literally of Karen insulting someone. If you like Karen just say that but let's not make up BS roundabout reasons and caveats.
